only good for a few months
The spongy material doesn't allow for thicker sunglasses frames to fit inside, rendering it useless if your pair are very thick. My Oakley Flack Jacket sunglasses just barely fit, but eventually they proved to be too thick as well and the plastic hinge broke. The only good thing was the wire spring that held them onto the visor. That was perfect, great spring strength but still easy to move the clip when needed.

Great Clip for the car, but put it on with two hands
This is a great sunglasses visor-clip for your car. However, when I first put it on the metal clip shot off and sprung out of the plastic holder. But I was able to easily put the metal part back into the plastic clip case, and I put it on my car's visor with two hands, and it's been on there ever since. So just be sure to put it on your visor with two hands holding the metal clip part and the actual plastic holder.

Good value for price - but leaves mark on the visor
The item is good. Since I always use sunglasses it makes sense to use the clip on the visor to hang sunglasses - the sponge is gentle on the frame and is really convenient to use. I must however mention that the wire clip being too tight leaves mark on the visor - u might want to use a sponge or something as a cushion when you are clipping - I never move take the clip out from the visor - so that works for me.

They work fine for a few years until the foamy material that ...
I've had many of these over the years. All are about the same. They work fine for a few years until the foamy material that holds the glasses in place disintegrates. The one I received will not close as well as others I've had and I need to be careful how I open it or the glasses will fall out. For the low cost, I'm not complaining.

Pretty Good idea
Works pretty well. Just be careful when you install it. The clip popped off of mine the first time I spread it out to slide it onto my visor. No harm done - I was able to reattach it. It just took a couple of minutes. After being a little more careful on my second attempt, I got it place just fine. It's been up there holding my sunglasses securely for weeks now.

Not bad, not great...
I had a $2 one for years that I got from an auto parts store, but it got accidentally broke and so just ordered this one off Amazon. It's okay, does fit firmly onto visor, but the "release" mechanism doesn't work real well, really have to push hard to get it to open.

Good enough.
It is a bit cheap feeling and that clip isn't held on by a whole lot, so as other reviews have stated it can go flying if you aren't careful when putting it on your visor, but once in place I haven't had any issue with it. Does what it should, stays put, and didn't cost much. Good enough.

Waste of money....
I purchased 2 of these - I should have listened to the other reviews..... One is already broken. (Broke as I put the glasses IN for the FIRST TIME)!I think the second one is not far behind.... The clasp is really weak. I've had similar before and they have lasted about a year - but this one didn't even last one minute....
