It's a vitamin...
I'm sure it's doing what it's supposed to be doing, but it tastes terrible... Just be warned. Even after you swallow it, you can still taste it for like 20 seconds. I still take them because it's good for me, but dang, NOW, coat them or something.NOW is a GREAT brand though!!! Everything I take comes from them.

If you are a women not in menopause, then you need Iron supplement on daily basis. It can be either using multivitamin or NOW foods iron supplement to keep up iron levels in the body. This is non-constipating and good supplement to use.

Not suitable for pregnant women
This iron complex is good because it includes b12 and other vitamins to support absorption. I take it daily. Please note it’s not suitable for pregnant women because of the Dong Quai herb.

This product is geared for women. It has two "root" additives that are for women's hormones and menstrual cramps. you should market that product to women.
