Perfect for beginners but the driver
Perfect for beginners. Good clubs but the driver, it’s almost impossible to use.

Get what you pay for and it's good enough
I'm not a good golfer. I have a 27 handicap and reliably shoot about 100. I got tired of renting sets at my winter home so got this set after reading the decent reviews. I normally play Taylor Made m6's with a stealth driver, Callaway 3w, 4h and 5h, and a couple Jaws wedges. That set new runs about $1,500 today and I just couldn't justify the cost. Bottom line: These are better than most clubs you'll rent at most public courses but if you have a good set at home you might feel disappointed. I'd still recommend them, though, because of what you get.The full set, driver through putter with a sand wedge, 5w, and 5-hybrid, is unique at this price point. You also get a decent bag which isn't going to get you laughed off the course. They seem well made and I didn't notice the issues other people had with the bag and grips. The downside is they're a bit heavy and hit a bit clunky. After playing 3 full rounds over the last week I found i needed to club up to hit where I normally would. My 7i M6 gets me about 150-160 but with these it's 130-140. I normally drive about 210-220 but max about 200 here. I don't see a big difference in putting distance :)I think it's because their extra weight makes me swing a bit slower. If I try to whale on it it goes everywhere so I'd rather hit short and straight than long and who knows where. So for a beginner just starting out not wanting to borrow or rent anymore, you should do OK with these. You might want to check out a used club shop and swing a bit just to be sure. But these are probably the best new clubs you can get for less than $400.

Very happy with my new clubs
Finally decided to replace the set of 40 year old clubs I inherited from my Father, so I bought the Wilson Profiles "Senior" edition. So happy I did.Right out of the box and to the driving range I went. Used all of the new clubs except the putter, what a difference modern technology makes. Out of 50 range balls, I only hit a couple of bad shots--significant improvement over my old man's ancient clubs that were state of the art in his time. Seems like a good value for the money.

Great set for tall guys.
I bought these as a gift for my son (6'3") and he loves them. He's pretty new to the game, but has been playing fairly often lately and sharing his friends' clubs. Figured it was time to get his own set and I did a lot of research finding a) a reputable brand, b) the right fit, and c) an affordable price. This set met all three concerns, and he is really enjoying them (he's only played 4x since X-mas, but very happy).

Decent starter set. Questionable durability but great warranty
Bought this as my first set of clubs to learn and practice. The bag is decent, no complaints but I’m not sure what makes a bag “good.” The clubs feel great for the budget price. They’re easy to swing and the club face is pretty big. But about 3000 balls in across my entire bag, my 7 & 8 iron are slightly bending at the club head. My 6 iron bent at the grip on my back-swing after 3 months, but Wilson had a replacement at my doorstep 6 days later. And my driver has a dent in it after shanking the ball once. I’m no pro, but I don’t shank or chunk my shot often, and I typically wouldnt take a divot until a couple weeks ago. So the wear seems premature. Maybe I’m just getting what I paid for, but unless you expect to replace these within a year, I’d look elsewhere. If you just want clubs with good feel to get you a jump start into golf, they should do you well enough.Update: I’ve now had two additional irons break on me. I’d really wouldn’t recommend these clubs if you plan to play often. You’ll just end up replacing them soon anyway. Wilson warranty support is great, but what’s the point if you’re constantly waiting on replacement irons?

Fairly Nice, Short Driver
Men’s Standard LengthPros: The good is that they are decent clubs and help you get into the game. It’s nice having new clubs. They will allow you to play golf and will not limit your game very much compared to an expensive set because your own skill is the biggest limitation as a beginner. A great player can play a scratch with a cheap set.Cons: I was expecting blue based on the Amazon pictures which were misleading. Blue is the senior clubs color. Standard is red. The box was damaged and the bag came smooshed at the top and is slightly crooked (possibly from shipping). The driver shaft is an inch shorter (43”) than the standard men’s driver shaft length (45”). The driver dented from a ball that was hit with the heel. Most of the club heads had cosmetic defects out of the box.Overall it’s a good set and I don’t regret buying it. I’ve had a blast getting into golf and playing with this set. But I think Wilson needs to fix the cosmetic defects on the club heads, the pictures on the listing should be updated as red for standard and blue for senior, and the driver shaft should be the standard men’s length (45”, not 43”). I am now on the market for a different driver. If you have more money, I would recommend buying used items of higher quality. But again, a great way to get into the game of golf and see if you like it.
