For the best connection between your cartridge and existing tonearm, use these 45mm Length OFC (oxygen free copper) leads with non magnetic, varying-gauge gold plated cartridge pins. These leads are compatible with most tonearms and cartridges.

Review: Does the trick! Wire is a bit stiff. - I needed a replacement wire for the headshell on my Pioneer PL-514 turntable. These wires fit my Ortofon cartridge perfectly, but the pins on my headshell are just a bit too small for the wire ends. I have a crimper that easily fixed the problem, and gives me tight contact. So, after a few seconds I had all of my new wire ready to install. Installation was fast, and easy after I trained the wire to go where I wanted it to go without putting strain on the crimps. The wire is much stiffer than the original, so you do need to take some care in getting them into the tight space. In the end it took about 5 minutes to sort it all out, and I had it playing out of both channels for the first time in a week!

**Q: What diameter pins do these fit? Mine are .03" diameter.**
A: These fit standard headshell and cartridge size pins.  I have used these many times and never had a problem.  They can also be crimped if the pin on the cartridge is extremely small.  But about 98% of the time,  a standard is designed for cartridges or headshells,  so you should not have a concern.  If the pins are to large,  you can expand the pins slightly with a very small bladed screwdriver also.

**Q: Will these work with my vintage Sansui FR-3060?**
A: I used on a Akai turntable ~1980 vintage

**Q: Hi, this wires fit to thorens tp16 arm & headshell with a m97xe cartridge?**
A: Yes they are standard size (you might have to use a very small straight bladed screw driver to open them up a slight bit), but I have used these wires in over 50 turntables, head shell and cartridge combinations,  so you should not have a problem.  They will greatly increase the overall quality of your musical reproduction.  Great value.

**Q: Does anyone know if these with fit a Thorens headshell?**
A: I am not  familiar with the Thorens headshell

Easy to replace if you have the right tools. Did not affect my sound quality. I’d recommend these instead of paying way more for the name brand. They work great. Audio technica turn table
