Super awesome product!
I love this photo frame. Bought as Christmas gifts for my 2 sons. Created a slideshow covering the years from their birth to their 40th birthday with 62 photos. They were very old photos of different sizes and not digital, but the quality of them on the frame was crisp, colorful, and excellent. It was very easy to set up and I love the fact you can use SD cards or flash drive as well as connecting to computer. One big plus is the remote control which will make it simple to use for those not electronically minded. After all, everyone knows how to use a remote. The only negative is the power cord which is very short, only about 3 feet, which is not good for people with old houses and very few outlets. However, that was easily fixed by purchasing a power extension cable which added 10 feet. Overall an excellent product and I would highly recommend.

Great Item
I was very satisfied with this picture frame! The resolution is great and the screen does not have any glare to it! I was very impressed to see that despite the frame being digital, the pictures do not look like you are viewing them from a computer screen. I noticed, however, you need to be sure to have the photos shifted to whichever direction you want them to show up on the frame before loading them onto the frame. I haven't found the option of how to rotate the photos on the frame without it being a lengthy process. The only bad thing I have to report on this frame is that the remote is not great at all. Luckily, I didn't need that anyway. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this item. Very user friendly and great resolution!

Great frame, great quality, great value
My 10 year old Boxer dog recently made his transition and I wanted a digital frame so we could see daily. This frame has awesome picture quality. I love that it also plays video and has an automatic timer to power the frame on/off. The remote is convenient but the buttons are difficult to press due to the small size. Who needs a remote to a digital frame anyway? The few things that I would've loved (but would've also driven the price upward): (1) If it flipped automatically between pictures and video. The frame plays both, but not at the same time. You can very easily change the setting from images to video, so I rotate between the two each day. (2) If it displayed in portrait format. The frame displays all pics and video in landscape. It doesn't automatically rotate the image. You'll have to prop ther frame against something to properly display videos recorded in portrait or they will show sideways. Again, these features are certainly available in more expensive frames but for the price, this frame can't be beat!

Easy Setup and Good Features
The screen is big and bright. It's nice because you can change the brightness, contrast and etc. Easy Setup and adding photos was a breeze. I plugged in the usb cable to it's port and to my computer. It has 4 gig storage built in. This is where you simply copy and paste your media like photos. I changed the setting so that the digital photo frame would boot up to automatically show photos. You can set it to auto boot to videos or music also. From there, I set the photos to display using the slideshow feature. The slideshow has nice transitions between showing the photos. You can change this to be randomized. Another cool feature is that you can set the device to automatically turn on, off or both at a specific time. Many Good Features.

DON'T BUY REFURBISHED 'USED' DIGITAL FRAMES - NO GUARRANTEE THEY WORK - MINE DIDN'T
Usually when a product is refurbished from Amazon, it has been tested and it works. Aluratek is a good name brand. I own another of their digital frames that has been running without a hitch for many years. I never thought twice about buying a used 'like new' product from Aluratek or Amazon. When I first received it, it looked new - had the warranty cards in it and the little piece of tape to pull out to connect batteries in the remote. I didn't jump on the job of putting pictures on it because I knew it would be time consuming to find the subject matter as it was to be a gift. AND I didn't realize that my return window was only a month. When I first tried to add pictures to the 4GB internal NAAN drive, following the instructions I found on line, nothing happened. Computer didn't see the frame as a connected device and visa versa. I thought it might be the computer. I set it aside as a project to spend more time on and I must be doing something wrong. Now many months have passed and I needed to not have the year end without figuring out how to add pictures to the internal memory. So I tried multiple things --- different cables, different ports on the computer, searched for FAQ to troubleshoot, looked online to see if I was doing something wrong, reset to factory settings just in case -- still nothing worked. Finally I logged into my account (remember I had another frame) and opened a trouble ticket. After days back and forth and trying different computers, different computers and different cables, different ports -- still nothing. Checked to see if the frame worked itself by plugging in a USB data stick that was in my other computer. It worked. I could use the remote to modify how the pictures are displayed so that worked. Tech support concluded as expected that the internal port of the frame was not functioning as it could not see the computer to be connected for the data transfer. There doesn't seem to be away to transfer from a data stick to the internal drive. It should be replaced, but odds are Aluratek will not replaced a used digital frame with a new one. It will be so cluggy to give it as a digital frame that can have pictures added to it and has to have an ugly data stick out the side. What does it say about 'thought that counts' -- "thanks for the broken frame"?? I went ahead and submitted the request for a replacement to Aluratek, so we shall see. If they do the right thing and replace the unit, then I will update this review.

Excellent value and features for the money!
Chose this unit after a bit of comparison shopping. This unit is the same price as some comparable units at big box stores but this unit has several features that the big box model didn't have. First this model has 4GB of built in memory that many other models in the same price range have zero GB of storage. This unit also has the capability to play videos(with sound!), also a feature comparably priced big box models didn't have. The unit also offers a clock calendar feature and offers lots of settings for changing all sorts of things like the length of time pictures are displayed and even has a setting to turn it off automatically at night and turn it back on in the mornings. This was purchased for an elderly relative in a nursing facility so being able to set all those features up is a huge benefit.

Not bad, but needs longer display times.
It works pretty well, is decent value, and the image quality is fine. It's a little flimsy, and doesn't feel or look like a really high grade item, but it does a perfectly good job of showing photos. Contrary to what others are saying, it does automatically turn on and start showing photos automatically - you don't need to set anything, just leave it alone and it goes to work. I only have one beef, and it's kind of major - when set to rotate through your selection of pictures, the longest time any one picture can be left up is 10 seconds. That is just not long enough - I have another one and it's much nicer to leave photos up for maybe even an hour or maybe even more - the rapid changing means that within a day you've probably seen the entire set of photos. Not only that, it's really distracting in a living room - people's eyes keep going to it as it changes, and it becomes the centre of attention. That's the job of a slideshow, not a picture frame. It's much more fun, and less distracting if it's just part of the furniture and each photo really has time to be absorbed.

Does what it supposed to do
Not much to say, a digital picture frame,it displays the pics, that what it supposed to do 😀 It has a calendar, alarm, clock, it plays music and videos, not just pics. Thr frame rim is wider than what I would like, not something to drop a star for. Works with 110v up to 240v which is nice for international customers. Uses mini USB and not micro or type C so I must keep old standard USB cable (included of course), not a big deal.

Digital Frame
I bought this frame and put all my daughter's pictures on it, rather than trying to print them out and place in an album that no one gets to see at a quick glance. So far, I love it. I read the comments before purchasing, and someone said they wished there was a random photo selection. This almost put me off from buying and I thought I could try it since it's not expensive and having them play in order wouldn't be so bad......BUT there IS a random selection. YAY. You just have to use the remote, start hitting buttons and find the options (That's all I did, didn't look at instructions since it's quite simple to use) In short, I'm purchasing more for the proud grandparents to display all the pictures!

Great but
I ordered this for my mother-in-law as a gift as she’d run out of space around the house for photos. The only downside was that it came for a US outlet rather than an Australian outlet. Even after double checking I ordered from Amazon AU, I must have missed somewhere in the descriptor about the outlet plug or maybe it just wasn’t listed. Thankfully we were able to get her a plug that worked for an Aussie outlet so she’s still able to use the frame!

Buena calidad al mostrar las fotos
Me gustó la calidad con la que muestra las fotos, el tamaño es ideal y no ocupa mucho espacio, por lo que lo hace práctico y elegante.
