I put in an a/c kit in my classic car and I used this crimper for all the lines. Worked great, no leaks. Crimps look nice. Easy to use.

Was installing classic auto air in my 79 Chevrolet K 20 had the lines crimp my local shop got them home it leaked I bought this one and it worked great. The guy at the local shop had one that you had to turn in manually with a bolt to crush the sleeves. He was afraid to over tighten so it caused the lines to not seal. I just re tightened the ones he did, got two new fittings to make one new line, there was really no thought to it I pumped the hydraulics with one hand until I couldn’t and it worked great!!! Perfect crimp every time

Didn’t make much sense to pay another shop to do what could be done with this tool . Makes the crimp that look factory. If you’re installing new AC lines I highly recommend this tool! Make the money yourself instead of paying someone else.

It works awesome. I use it for custom AC lines when I do non-traditional engine swaps and also (using reduced barrier ferrule #8) for crimping 3/8 air hose fittings in my shop.It's a little pricey but you feel where every cent went when you use it. Top quality feel and function, and even comes with essentially everything to rebuild the cylinder in the future should you need to.

First time using a tool like this and wow was it easy. I do not plan on working on ac systems often and the price point on this tool is a no brainer vs other options.
