Uniware Super Quality Aluminum Caldero/ Stock Pot with Aluminum lid, Thickness 3mm

I’ve been using this kind of pot for many many years. Is excellent to boil veggies , cook rice or anything you would like. I used it for rice only. Is not heavy, doesn’t get stain easily. Easy to clean.

I received my caldero 2 days ago and was very upset that a dent was at the outside bottom and could even be visible from the inside; also scratches all over the bottom like it’s being used before!I took a picture but don’t know how to posted it here. When my granddaughter comes over she will teach me how to do it.I am used to those kind of calderos growing up in the Caribbean. The ones they are making now are not even close to the prior models: heavy and sturdy. This one is so LIGHT that l couldn’t imagine what I am going to do with it.Would have been ok without the dent and scratches.From this same company I also bought a 10 quart that is ok.But l am really disappointed with this 3.7 quart pan . I didn’t use it yet and probably will send it back.

I had a larger sized pot but it was to big this is just right for a family of 4

It made my rice just the I like it. And cleans very well. You let it soak in hot water and a little soap. I will not put it in dishwasher cause I don't want it changing color. I do recommend it.

It worked like a pot should for about a month and a bit but lately, the bolt on the underside of the top part is oxidizing and chipping, and if heated, metal pieces can drop into the food. It's really bad quality metal and dangerous too.

I use it for rice meay let's say for everything!
