Great for draining large pots, it is stiff enough to prevent distortion, so it works well. The holes are a good size for draining without losing food. Just heavy enough to be durable and its dishwasher safe. This should last unless you step on it... SCORE!

I had to search quite a bit to find this item - plenty of rather small, plastic-type strainers are available but not large enough for my purposes. I typically drain fat off of ~2 lbs of ground beef out of a 12" skillet and needed something that would not only allow me to drain off the fat, but to do so without the cooked beef spilling over the top of the strainer while doing so.After finally finding a strainer of the size I needed, I was concerned with how well constructed it would be - and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the strainer is a sturdy, well-designed unit that I would gladly recommend to anyone else with similar requirements. When folks are looking for a pot strainer, this should be the first recommendation, not pages and pages down!

I really like this product. I had another one by a different company for over 20 years. It has worked great, but I needed another. I thought I would give this one a try. It is very well made. It can go in the dishwasher. I love having this type of kitchen tool to use. It's so much easier to strain your pasta with this. I don't always like to take my colander out and use it.

This makes it very easy to drain the water out of a pot of pasta. It fits perfectly on top of a double handled 10" round pot.

Best and fastest way to drain pots and pans.

Removes the need for a colander especially when I’m cooking pasta. Happens to be a perfect fit. Needs less space in the dishwasher. Great value. Since I am spending more time in the kitchen during COVID-19, I decided to add or upgrade a few things in the kitchen. This is one of my favorites.

I guess I didn't think about this when I purchased to, but I wanted a strainer/drainer that would allow me to neatly pour from a pot into a jar. This one isn't it. However, its reasonably good as a pot strainer and easy to hold in place.

Does it job and cleans easily.

J'en avais marre des passoires volumineuses dans les placards ou dans le lave vaisselle.J'avais déjà essayé ce type de modèle dans le passé, mais il n'était pas suffisamment haut (les aliments passaient par dessus quand je penchais, même légèrement, ma casserole).Celui-ci est parfait en taille, on peut pencher les casseroles pour vider l'eau sans que nos légumes, pâtes, etc. ne finissent dans l'évier. Solide, facilement rincable, logeable dans les placards, tiroirs et lave vaisselle. Le fait de ne pas transférer les aliments (casserole > passoire classique > casserole) évite qu'ils ne refroidissent rapidement.Si vraiment je devais lui trouver un défaut, peut être aurait-il pu avoir des poignées recouvertes de silicone pour ne pas se brûler et en faciliter le maintien et peut être que les trous pourraient être d'un diamètre légèrement inférieur pour être totalement polyvalent.Conclusion : très satisfaite pour mon usage.
