This worked excellent
This stuff is excellent. I bought it for my soles and its perfect. The smell is good, not overpowering and dissipates quickly. Super easy to apply, I used a little paint brush and it worked well, and then just threw the brush in a ziplock to use again. To me that works better than using a rag or towel also preventing any possible color transfer from the rag.

Great Product!
This is a review for Huberd’s Shoe Oil. Huberd’s Shoe Oil is a leather oil and it is used for many different products. It keeps new leather soft and pliable and helps restore dried-out leather to its natural condition. I decided to use Huberd’s Shoe Oil on an old leather purse that I have. The Oil goes on very smoothly. After I applied one heavy coat, I could tell right away that the purse looked shinier and newer than before. You are supposed to leave the coat on overnight. Therefore, I rubbed one thick coat of Huberd’s Shoe Oil on my Leather purse on one side with an old t-shirt and let it sit overnight. The next day I realized there was some excess moisture so I wiped the leather down with the same cloth (old t-shirt) and the extra Huberd’s Shoe Oil was completely saturated into the leather making my old leather purse like new again. The smell was a little strong you could wear gloves but the oil and the smell washed off right away with warm soap and water. I would recommend this product definitely. I got an 8 oz. (227.3ml) bottle and I would say this bottle would last me at least one hundred applications. I am excited to use this oil on all my shoes, leather jackets, and I am sure Huberd’s Shoe Oil will make all of my hand bags like new again. This could save me hundreds! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoy this product as much as I have. Suhila

Used in conjunction with Huberd's Shoe Grease is a winner
I previously wrote a review of Huberd's Shoe Grease and how it helped me to revitalize a badly abused pair of Redwing boots that were left caked in mud, dried leather, and generally just in lousy condition. After a thorough cleaning with soap, water and a stiff brush, the shoe grease worked wonders after allowing the boots to dry. What the Shoe Grease did not quite do to my liking was return the leather to its original "supple" state, as they remained stiff and waxy. Part of the protection and not complaining, I simply wanted a little more softness to to the leather. I recently retreated those same booths with the Huberd's Shoe Oil, and what a difference it made. The leather is once again plyable, soft, and more comfortable. To be clear, I don't think it's an either/or - though you'd likely be fine going one way or the other. I just find that using both products as a "system" has produced great results for me on a pair of boots that I ride pretty hard. I treat my boots monthly, and am beginning to use both products on other leather goods around the house as needed. I wish I would have found this stuff sooner, but glad I did.

Keep your leather goods soft and supple for years!
This is the best shoe grease around. I treat all my leather with this stuff. The oil smells less like a smokehouse than the tin of grease, but I like the smell. Even the cheapest leather can be made soft with this stuff. I've had the same cheap (but comfy and stylish) pair of knee high leather boots that I've already had to glue the sole back onto for the last 10 years. This has kept the leather nice and supple and I wear them often every season. All my vintage leather goods are immediately treated several times with this stuff. My mother had a pair of leather loafers from a high end retailer that sat in a box in her non AC storage building for the last 10 years. They were high quality leather, but so dry and rough when we got them out. She thought she'd have to throw them away (the soles had completely separated from the shoes too), but I ordered a tin of this and some shoe glue and now they are soft and supple and completely wearable again. So don't throw it away, and don't wait until it's dry and cracked. Grab a tin of this and go crazy!
