Silent, just as advertised.
I needed a silent mouse for my laptop because I didn't want to disturb others in quiet settings (i.e. classroom, library) when I'm using it. The mouse might feel cheap in some aspects but it's a 13 dollar mouse. Using it actually feels pretty nice. It has a good studded texture on the buttons and works pretty smoothly. If you want to play video games in lecture without being obnoxious, get this thing. All the buttons are extremely quiet. Somebody else described this as someone lightly tapping the skin of their fingers on a wood desk; I find that statement accurate. Others were complaining about the back and forward buttons + the scroll wheel not being silent; I think that may have been an old model because the one I got is completely silent.EDIT: Like I said, it's a 13 dollar mouse. With about two years of constant use (for both workstation and gaming applications), I've managed to wear it down and now the left and right mouse buttons either fail to register or end up double-clicking more often than not. The scroll wheel has the same fault as the mouse buttons, even after disassembling the mouse and cleaning it. In the end, it was a nice mouse with poor longevity.

A fine "silent partner" for my daily office work
This is a great mouse for use in an office environment. The left and right click buttons are pretty much completely silent. While the wheel and side buttons are not, they're still quiet enough to not be obtrusive. The side buttons are mapped to browser forward and back by default, even on macOS, which is where I'm using mine. I can't comment on battery life at this time, but the overall build quality seems decent enough for the price. I tried using the mouse for gaming, but the limited DPI adjustment and somewhat sluggish response make it suitable only for very casual titles. That being said, I can't knock it for this because it's not advertised as such. The shape isn't the most ergonomic either, but I haven't experienced any hand or arm pain after using it for nearly eight hours per day for the last several weeks. So far, this is proving to be a solid mouse for the price and something I would absolutely recommend for non-gamers.

This product was exactly what I wanted.
1.It fits comfortably in my hand. I do have larger hands because I'm 6'2 but I believe the comfort will be universal.2.I am happy with the silent feature. I would have to tap my figure aggressively to hear anything. Even then it's hard to hear.3.The color is cool!4.It seems to respond great on my computer. This product was exactly what I wanted and i was surprised. I was surprised because usually on good electronic deals I'm a bit disappointed.I purchased this because I needed a quiet mouse for the media project I've been doing. Not only is it annoying to hear a click but it can be disruptive when doing last minute editing while the speaker is talking.I'm just more than happy with this product and I will buy another one.

Delivered as expected.. very quiet. [UPDATE 4 mo Review: quality sucks!]
This is an updated 4 months review.I have changed this product review from 5 stars to 1 start (I'd do 0 if I could or even negative 5.)After 4 months the mouse now becomes laggy. I tried to google why a mouse is laggy, thinking it might have been my computer or even the mouse pad itself or the mouse laser. I've insured my mouse pad is clean (which I clean this on a regular basis) and I even ensured my mouse laser is clean, using a q-tip to ensure but the mouse is still laggy. I have tried to switch mouse pads, I even tried to just use the bare desk (as I was thinking maybe the mouse is not registering the mouse pad for whatever reason) - still go the same results. I then went back to this product to read "recent" reviews on this mouse and come to find out a lot of other people are having the same problem with the mouse being laggy. If you dont understand what I mean by laggy, heres the best way I can example: It's like when you go to click on something for example if your going to click to close your browser, and you move your mouse to that X, its gonna take your mouse awhile to catch up to the directon or command you asked it to, sometimes even having to physically lift your mouse, move your hand back to the bottom corner of your mouse pad, to do the motion again. This mouse was great up until it lasted, which was about 4 months plus or minus. Thus making this product not so great at all. The price is cheap, so I guess I got what I paid for this time. IF I could suggest to you on deciding to purchase this mouse, I would say to try another mouse and another brand. Focus on recent reviews but I personally wouldn't recommend this mouse to a friend. Now I'm back to my old loud clicker, until I find replacement.Good luck on your purchase!Below WAS my original 5 review (keep in mind, this product is no longer rated 5 stars by me. Try negative 50 stars):Apparently we have a lot of computer mouse experts here. I had this mouse sitting in my shopping cart for a month deciding my needs and wants because some of the reviews were misleading, saying this mouse is not quiet. This mouse is quiet. The scroll wheel, is quiet, and the scroll click is also quiet. If you look at the picture of this mouse, there are 2 buttons (where your thumb would go) which is for forward and backwards on a page. Quiet. Again some of these reviews I've read said the mouse is not quiet. If you are clicking and pushing buttons on a mouse, the person next to you will not hear you clicking. You literally have to take the mouse and hold it to your ear, start clicking to here any kind of noise but even then the noise is so subtle and light (its like when you buy a brand new computer or keyboard and the keys are so soft and new when you push them). So I don't know how much more quiet some of these people need or want. They want to press invisible air. If you are looking for a mouse that is quiet when you are clicking or scrolling, this is perfect. I can't say for quality yet but ill update this review in a few months. Just know, with this mouse nobody will hear you click. Im glad I bought this and I hope it lasts a long time.
