I had 2 of these hooked up to our 2gig alarm system. Both are exterior, one is in the front (with strobe) and one in the back.  They are very loud!  If we get broken into it will be hard for someone not to notice.

Not enough information was given in advertisement. I wanted this as a motion activated alarm. It is not. This alarm also needs a 12 volt DC transformer to wire it for power. I had to get the help of an electrician. I am very handy, but this required a professional. I don't know anything about the product's performance, because I returned it before it was hooked up.

I tied it in to my ADT home alarm system and it did not work .Not sure why.... the other indoor siren works fine.( so for now it just looks the part for people to see at the inner pitch of the roof facing the street).
