Toshiba SD3300 DVD Player - Black

This dvd player is great for the price. I purchased it as a gift for my grandma. She loves it. It plays wonderfully. No complaints.

The Toshiba Progressive Scan DVD player came in perfect condition and as described. It is lightweight, small, and works very well. One thing that I have always disliked about DVD players is the remote that comes with it, they are usually gigantic and are completely unintuitive. The remote control that came with this Toshiba player is small and easy to use, I don't need to search for 2 minutes to find the play button. Great little player for your money.

When I first got this product I was so very happy and excited since our older one had stopped working at all. So, after looking long and hard for a suitable replacement I found this the most likely to meet my needs. The biggest complaint is the player is very selective about the disks it will read. If there is even the tiniest piece of lint or perhaps a shadow on a disk... its not going to load in less than 5 tries. That takes a lot of enjoyment out of watching movies.... I'm thinking of going to Walmart and find a cheap replacement seriously... something a little less selective

I had read a review of this item that said it was no good. I should have listened but thought the Toshiba name was good and maybe their experience was just a coincidence. I purchased this DVD player and it would not play a single DVD! Don't waste your time with this one.

This DVD player did not play DVD-R or DVD+R discs as stated in the description. I sent it back and will look for a player that actually plays DVD+/-R discs.

The price was right and the DVDs play well no complains from me nice picture and features I'm glad I purchased it

When I bought this DVD player, I was looking for a "cheaper" player and I didn't care about having Blue Ray or anything fancy on it and that had a small profile. I rarely watch movies but I do do exercise videos at home, so I use the player for that main reason. I've had no issues with the player therefore no complaints. It's slim and doesn't take up much room. If you're looking for a DVD player that is simple, easy to set up, and just works, this is the DVD player for you.

Why do you illustrate this player as having an HDMI adapter, even illustrate that the two are bought together, when the player Does NOT have HDMI inputs ?? Very deceptive advertising and definitely not appreciated.

A good quality DVD player considering it's low cost.To play UK DVDs:Toshiba SD3300 - user region code/hacksit uses the same code as the toshiba SDK780 which is(using remote control):1. power on the player2. open tray3. press 9879 follow by 0 for all regions4. close tray5. turn off player

以前持っていた物で最近飼ったリージョン3のDVDが画面はでるもの音が出ないため購入しましたがその他のDVD（日本のも）を含めすべて問題なしです。もちろん”もやしさん”のレビューが参考になったのはいうまでもありません。大変感謝です！

One needs to note Toshiba Players are sensitive to humidity. My current Toshiba worked perfectly until one day a lot of humidity was released into the air by the washroom close by. Then it would not recognize the disc. A day later with the dehumidifier having cleared the house, the machine performed perfectly again. I am a fan with these machines along with Phillips TV's for having more than just HDMI inputs. The fact that this model can be programmed (as noted by another reviewer) to make it region free is the icing on the cake, so to speak! Thanks Amazon for making it available!

For anyone who has multiple region DVD`s then this will play them all, I`m from the UK and it plays all my discs from the UK, my Australian discs when I lived there and my American discs (donated by a friend).When you turn it on and put in the DVD it will say wrong region but just press the open tray button and whilst the tray is open press 98790 in that order on the remote and then it will play any regions discs. There are no instructions or notes to tell you to do this hence the 4 star rating.Also if you`re used to HDMI quality DVD players then the quality isn`t that standard as it is the 3 plug jack type so the picture clarity isn`t amazing but it is good. I bought better quality cables and hooked it up and the clarity was very good but still not HDMI clarity.A great buy for the price

we have just purchased a lovely Emerson 32 inch flat screen tv. It was very disappointing to find out you cannot connect the pvr and tv and dvd at the same time you have have to keep switching the cables. This was not what we had in mind when we purchased the dvd. I realise we did not pay a fortune for the machine but its a bit archaic to have to switch cables all the time. Do you have any suggestions?
