Travelon Anti-Theft Metro Waist Pack

This relatively sleek and small hip pack, fanny pack, was perfect for my travels and gave me a sense of security in crowded places. It has 3 zippered pockets. #1) I used the small pocket on the front for chapstick and sunscreen stick and those 1 euro coins for the loo. #2) The second zippered pocket was perfect for my large cell phone. It is gusseted so that when the pocket is fully unizipped, the gussets still hold the phone in the pocket. I like having a dedicated zippered pocket for my cell phone, so I don't worry about anything else falling out as I pull out, or put away, my phone #3) largest zippered pocket has 4 RFID protected credit card sized pockets and two slim pockets that go all the way across the bag, one on the front wall and one on the back wall of the pocket. I used this largest pocket for money, credit cards, ID, tickets. #4) There is a smaller open pocket on the back of the hip pack, closest to your body where the video shows the man kept his phone. It was too small for my large phone with its protective leather wallet case on. So I kept tissue and spare napkins there... what can I say... messes happen! Glad I purchased, would purchase again. I really appreciate that the slash proof body of the product holds its shape so that the pack looks smooth and not rumpled like me.

Small Bag. Big Power. This hip bag is a lifesaver. Super comfortable, doesn’t pull on your waist, and doesn’t bounce around when you’re moving all day. It holds WAY more than it looks like—electronics, essentials, daily carry stuff—without feeling bulky. After a day or two, you forget you’re even wearing it. Strong strap, great fit for any body type, and it actually stays in place. Looks good, works hard, and keeps up with real-life movement. 10/10 would buy again. (I have 🤪 I got it in 3 colors)

Has the protection I sought, and the ability to keep me organized with three zip compartments. The slot at the back wasn't large enough for my phone as advertised, but held a wallet with room for more. Comfortable as a sling. Not as ample as others that are open with a wide base, but this provides nice structure for a phone and larger items stuffed inside. Another good Travelon choice. UPDATE: Again, this bag wears well and comes in handy as a sling or waist pack. Passing along a notice to be aware that the main compartment zips all the way down, with no added flaps to keep items from falling out on the sides. Once had something small drop out but was found. Last month at a crowded golf event I unzipped the main section many times, obviously unaware of when my prescription glasses case fell out. Too busy to pay attention, I guess.

I wanted a mid-sized waist pack that didn't make me feel like an overstuffed marsupial. This is it! I wanted a waist pack that had great anti-theft features and allowed me to feel secure in the city and while traveling. This is it! This waist pack has all the security features for which I was looking. Indeed, it had one that surprised and delighted me: I was concerned about the seatbelt-like closure covered with only a square of fabric. I feared that the closure was the one area of vulnerability which would give pickpockets an opportunity. It turns out that the closure can be locked with the easy slide of a button. Now, this is the perfect waist pack! It has a front zippered pocket where I store my keys; a larger zippered pocket behind that where I stash my oversized phone in its case; and an even larger main zippered compartment that has four RFID slots for my driver's license and credit cards; a slot large enough for my passport and some cash; a zippered back wall compartment; and plenty of room for my miscellaneous stuff (tissues, pens, hand sanitizer, etc.), not to mention the Travelon mini-flashlight so that I can find things in the dark. Oh, and did I mention that it has a slip pocket on the back of the pack, close to my body, where I can drop in cash or a card that I need to get to without opening my pack? Listen, I know nothing is perfect, but this is as close to perfect as a waist pack made by humans for humans can get! If you're looking for a waist pack that has it all, this is it!

I was looking for a travel fanny pack, so I was comparing everything between the options. Some times you want a smaller one, sometimes you want to hold more stuff. This one is definitely on the bulkier end, so it’s great for the latter use-cases. If you have that in mind, this is a great bag! I feel at ease knowing that it’s heavy duty enough to withstand thieves attempting to steal from you. The pockets options are great, and not too anti-theft to the point that you can’t use it either (some bags be like that). My bf loved it so much that he basically stole it under my nose, so it’s not partner-proof ;) But it worked out for us, because he doesn’t mind holding the bulkier bag, and I can hold a smaller one I also bought from Amazon. Took a star off because I was mainly going for a more sleek and discreet bag, and this a bit too bulky for me. Even though I knew the dimensions when I bought it, I still feel like it could have been designed to hold the same volume without being that chunky. But my bf loved it as-is, and it was the perfect size for him, so to each their own!

Excellent quality with just the right amount of storage. It holds quite a bit but does not feel too large when wearing. I like to know where my purse is at all times when travelling.No worries of slicing straps or someone getting my credit card info.

My husband and I just got back from a multi-country Europe trip. These bags were complete lifesavers! Not only did they fit everything we needed them to (battery packs to charge our phones, passports, cigarettes, travel documents), it also provided a safe but easily accessible place for us to put our phones (easy to access for the person wearing the bag, not others). This bag was durable, big enough to fit everything but not too big, and was just perfect. They are NOT cheap quality or looking - and they did everything we wanted them to and more (no pickpockets got through!) The locking zippers were annoying to unlatch at times, but that’s the whole point! 🙂 Anyways, I am going to get these for my friends and family for Christmas because they are worth EVERY penny.

I've taken this with me to Paris several times and I have no worries about pickpockets. BUT there's a huge flaw in this bag that means I am replacing it - the hooks at the zipper have ruined two sweaters and even caught my raincoat pull in them. These are the hooks that the zipper pull attaches to, and they aren't completely closed. That little gap is enough to catch on everything they can possibly catch on. I've used pliers to try to end the problem but they still gap enough to catch on things. Travelon - please look at the design of your zippers and consider how to change this.

This waste bag was purchased for overseas travel. It is very well made and feels very secure. There is plenty of space for a wallet, passports and cellphone. There are multiple zippered areas so you can keep your phone separate from your other valuables. Exterior zippers have safety latches to prevent easy opening. The strap is long and adjustable. You can also wear it like a cross body bag. It fits both myself and my husband.

Great travel bag for throughout the day usage! Plenty of storage for every day items and the added security features means you can travel without worrying about theft. Quality is great and worthy of the price. The strap could be a bit longer for people with big chests to wear over the shoulder though. I have a 44inch chest and had to have it as lose as possible to wear over the shoulder. But still above to. Any larger chest would struggle. Highly recommended though

Ich bin schon länger ein großer Fan von Travelon und auch mit dieser Bauchtasche bin ich sehr zufrieden! Sie ist aufgrund ihrer Größe etwas wuchtiger, im Sommer kann das teilweise komisch aussehen, aber dadurch passt auch schön viel rein. Der Gurt ist sehr stabil und mir gefällt, dass die Schnalle so geschützt ist und man sie nicht so einfach aufbekommt. Ich trage die Tasche quer über der Brust, muss sie also nicht selber auf und zu machen, schlinge sie nur um. Es gibt schön viele Taschen, auch einzeln mit Reißverschluss und Karabiner gesichert. Ob die Karabiner wirklich was bringen, weiß ich nicht, ich selbst fühle mich damit aber sicherer und mein Freund und auch die Security an verschiedenen Stellen (Flughafen/Konzert etc.) tuen sich damit immer erstaunlich schwer! Das RFID habe ich nicht getestet, aber bis jetzt ist auch noch nichts passiert. Und man kriegt tatsächlich mehr unter, als man denken würde, ich bin immer wieder überrascht! Ich habe mal mein normales Portmonee, ein Brillenetui, Taschentücher, Schlüssel unf AirPods untergekommen. Also rundum wieder einmal sehr zufrieden mit Travelon
