Great
They never disappoint.

It works like it’s supposed to
Woks great. Not much else to say. It switches channels on my amp when I step on the buttons.

Decent cable.
Cable is okay, but don't get near electric cords bc you'll get a humming sound. Better make sure that it's shielded, bc I don't believe this one is. If I move it away from electric cords, the hum vanishes.

Hosa works
Works fine Feels cheap. I have good experience with Hosa, but they're inexpensive for a reason. Home studio or other gentle applications only.

Cost-effective TRS Solution
I bought three pair of these to use with a HOSA AUDIO SIGNAL SELECTOR I picked up for my home studio. All of them worked as expected and the price is fantastic.I monitor on Bluesky Mediadesk 2.1, a pair of KRK Rokit 5s, and an Avant Electronics Mixcube-A1 Avantone Shielded Powered Mini-Reference Monitor - Single . With these TRS cables the speakers are completely silent when they aren't receiving signal, which is why you should always use TRS if your equipment can manage it. The noise-cancelling property of TRS connections is due to physics. If it works, it works! It doesn't work a little, or work better or worse. These are perfect for applications where you are connecting something once and then leaving it alone. They should hold up under light use. I expect these to last for a very long time in my setup, for example. In this situation, IMO it is foolish to spend more for something that will cancel line noise exactly the same way.If durability is a major concern then these are not the cables for you. I would not recommend these for mobile or live use, where they would be plugged and unplugged often and/or wadded up at the bottom of a cable box then expected to perform in critical conditions. The downside of *if it works it works* is that if it's only "a little bit broken" it doesn't work at all. I imagine that with frequent use these will fail where the cable joins the jack, and it looks like the plastic jacket makes them impossible to repair. However, these are so cheap that trying to fix them would be kind of like trying to sharpen and re-use a disposable razor. For the pros, these are suitable to purchase several, leave them in their packaging, and throw them into your gear-box for that time when your more expensive cables fail. These will get you through the gig so that you can get back and repair your more durable cables. But again, I would be sweating if I was regularly relying on these in gigging situations or if I was using them as anything but a backup while providing live sound in a venue.

Still a good value
There's no denying that these are light-weight, thin and supple cables compared to the leading two competitive brands. But in my experience they work just as good (sic) and last just as long. They're less accessible to repair by the owner, so if you're concerned about the environment, are opposed to trashing rather than fixing, and don't mind paying as much as six times more for the top-grade instrument cords, that's a decision I applaud.Whereas some of the "brand-name" cords have appreciated 50% in price compared to a year ago, these cables are mere pennies more. I do notice one aberration: the 10-foot Hosa cable is presently priced below this 5-foot cable on Amazon. If you prefer to play with a personal amp up close to your instrument, the 5-foot cable is the way to go. If you play with musicians who insist on connecting all instruments to a general P.A. system (I resent losing control over my piano, but who am I to argue if someone else landed the gig and is paying me to play?), then you'd be better off with a 15'-20' foot cord than a 10' one.In any case, never go on the job--any job, or even rehearsal--without an extra patch cord. Even the most expensive cords have shorted out in my experience. Finally, it's easy not to take seriously manufacturers' recommendations to use only "balanced cables" (the ones with 2 rings in the pin). Best take seriously those recommendations until you've proved them wrong. Some Kurzweils that I've owned will not accept non-balanced (monaural, or single-ring) cables.

Really good quality.
I bought these cables to connect my monitoring speakers to my audio interface. I specifically wanted balanced cables and these work beautifully. They're very high quality and I would advise against buying really cheap cables. I bought these 2 years ago and they have been unplugged and plugged in again several times and they are still going strong and show no sign of wear.I had never purchased HosaTech cables before but I would definitely buy these again next time I need some balanced cables.

They don't stay in
As another buyer found, the plugs don't stay in but push out slightly. Compared to my other TRS plugs I noticed that the exposed ends are about 3mm shorter. They don't seem to go in far enough to "lock". A pity really as if you hold the cable in place the sound quality is fine, but unfortunately, this manufacturing defect renders them useless. I ordered 2 so it seems to be a consistent issue, not a one off. My advice: spend an extra quid to get a quality cable with metal ends.

Inconsistent quality
I bought two of these cables. One was fine, but the other seems to have some irregularity that causes it to not stay plugged into my interface properly. It slips out ever so slightly and disrupts the connection. I checked with other cables/outputs on the interface, and it's definitely the cable itself that's the problem. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Very well made.
I have bought these cables before to hook my speakers up to my audio interface. This time I bought them to hook my keyboard up to my audio interface. They are really well made and work very well too.I will definitely buy these again if I need more balanced cables.

Just the job, and cheap too.
Purchased to connect my iPad to my audio interface, a Steinberg UR22 mkII.They look a bit cheap but they do the job perfectly and with no discernible noise creeping in. And to be fair they are cheap.
