I've been eating and using unrefined coconut oil for years. There are a lot of good brands out now that weren't back in the day. I used to buy from an online company years ago and they were quite expensive. I always have great luck with Viva Naturals. This large container will last awhile and the price is very good compared to others. You get good quality coconut oil. The label doesn't have to say "extra virgin", but just "virgin" to be the same unrefined, cold-pressed oil. If it's real white, smells like fresh coconuts, you've got a quality oil. This coconut oil will last at least 2-3 years if I don't run out of it. I put a big scoop every day in my collagen shake for health reasons. I need to microwave it just a little bit to get it soft enough to scoop. Since it is saturated fat (the healthy kind) it will get very firm at temps below 72 degrees or thereabout. If it's particularly warm in your kitchen/house, it will liquify some depending on how warm the air is. You can't go wrong with unrefined coconut oil. So many uses. I dab a little on a skin sore or dry skin and it's good. I put it on my chapped lips for a moisturizer. You can oil-pull for your teeth also. This stuff is made by God I believe. It's antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial. This is a good, cost-effective brand I recommend. If consuming on a regular basis, you'll need to start with a small amount and build it up to avoid any digestive issues. The oil is potent. And and one more thing, it's great to cook and bake with. Healthier than refined seed oils and shortening.

I use this for a skin condition and since day one of using this it has cleared up the condition. This is the best brand and quality you will find and if you're in a similar situation it is worth a shot, of course it won't work for everyone. Also, unless you live in a very hot climate all year you will need to very so slightly heat this up to use as a lotion. I use a microwave, or sit it in front of a wood fire/heater during winter.
