Piece of rubbish. One stopped working altogether and the other started making a high pitch noise (definately not ultrasonic sound). I put one in the garage where I get a lot of spiders and this does nothing to them. Wish I can get my money back!

Firstly, one of the six failed out of the box. That said it may have only been the failure of the light indicator that shows it is powered as you cannot tell if it is actually producing the required high frequency noise that it is supposed to, and could be why there doesn’t seem to be any reduction in the flies, wasps, spiders etc. This makes it difficult to assess whether these are working or not. If the light is on and assumed working, it certainly doesn’t deter anything although we may just have a large number of deaf beasties. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the operating light is bright so if you like a dark bedroom then these will certainly keep you awake but will probably help stop the bugs bashing into the walls and furniture.

Easy to install, just plug in... There is an instruction manual that tells you there is no way of knowing if this item works for 6 weeks, as I've not had any pests apart from wasps and lots of them, but I need to wait 6 weeks before judging, because that's how long the item takes to work!! One plugin lasted less than 2 months and the light does not work so I assume the item doesn't work either. It's too late to return the item so ive wasted my money....To be honest... in hindsight.... I wouldn't waste your money on these if I were you.

Bought this sooner can see less spiders and ants. Glad to say that we have seen a difference in the number of bugs we are seeing at home. I didn't think it will work but it's worked so far. I'll write a follow up after a few months to see how things went.

Does not work. Waste of time. They light up a blue colour which is irritaing in a bedroom, but kind of useful in the halway at night. They are easy to use, as just plug in and then the switch on. But I have now Turned them off as they were just drain on my power supply with the light. There is no effect on any spiders of any size, or flies. Don't buy these, save your money

I'd say this is pretty damn effective, have an ant infestation starting (yay summer) and a couple of spiders looking to crash here. Well the spider that was chilling in my living room is nowhere to be seen (yay I got my living room back!) And I haven't seen any ants running across the floor since plugging it in. Update: its been a couple of days and I'm ecstatic to say that I have not found a single spider, so my house is still intact and not burnt down. The ants seem to have moved to a different location (R.I.P my neighbors) and my house seems bugfree.

These don’t last long. Unfortunately one arrived broken but the other 5 seemed ok and we put them straight to work to get rid of a rodent or two that we had problems with. Whilst things did initially quieten down for a couple of weeks, after a couple of months they are beginning to come back. No improvement was seen and the off fly took up residence actually on one of the units as well so not very effective at all.
