Aggressive looking rocket
The media could not be loaded. I just used masking tape and rattle canned it but got it looking nearly identical to the photo (which my 7 year old requested over and over again). Just be warned the decals are extremely brittle, don't use fine pointed tweasers. I should have sanded and sealed the fins but didn't. My son loves it, very aggressive looking rocket. Flies good and straight even though I eyeballed the fins. The nosecone seems to fit pretty tight into the main tube, but the motors don't seen to have a problem ejecting it. Balsa fins break a little easier than plastic ones, so keep the glue handy. In fairness we have been launching it with a keychain video camera on it, so the extra weight isn't helping the fins during landings.Took about 6-8 hours to assemble and get looking exactly like the photo on the box. C6-3 engine shown in video. Camera is 7oz.

Perfect gift for my young grand-nephews
I sent this to my nephew as a birthday gift. Next time his family came down for a visit, I asked them to bring the rocket, and helped build it for them. Then we took it to a park and launched it. I'm a novice -- never built a rocket -- and it went smoothly. Fairly easy to set up. Bought 3 rocket motors, and every launch was successful -- parachute deployed each time. And it got some serious air. Kids had a blast.

Our first Quest rocket - great rocket
I've built Estes all of my life and wanted to try something new. My 6 year old and I built this together over a course of 2 evenings. The instructions were similar to what I am used to from other model rockets with some slight differences. The rocket turned out great and we have flown it several times. It has flown perfectly but we did recently lose a fin (our fault for not inspecting a weakness after several flights). Since the fins are balsa wood, it will be easy to replace.

Estes kits are better, the Quest tubes have spirals
Estes kits are better, the Quest tubes have spirals, like paper towel tubes. But Quest does have more scale choices.

Very good kit
Parts and instructions were very easy to work with. Rocket came out great and I expect it to work very well. Would recommend.

Quest Striker - One Awesome Rocket!
The Striker is a great rocket! Long and lean with great military styling. Looks like it's two stages but it isn't. This is one of those perfect rockets with just the right length to body diameter and fins that set off the hot looks. You will need to have some experience painting rockets to get this one to look like the catalog photo. Striker provides realistic liftoffs and great recoveries under Quest's colorful red/yellow 14" parachute. Take your time building and your friends will be envious. Quest's Striker is a must have for your rocket collection!
