I set this up for our 4000 gallon Bestway pool. It came with all the necessary adapters to be able to fit the smaller hose sizes of the Bestway pool. It has worked great all summer! So much easier to clean than a Cartridge filter.Very happy with it.

This pump is easily worth the money. I have an 8,000 gal above ground pool which was a struggle to keep clean with the small filter pump it came with. I could easily say that the bestway sand pump is easier, more efficient, and convenient in every way. I bought this pool pump because the little paper filter pumps that come with the pools are too small.I've had the unit working for about a month and it works good. I have a 4' x 16' round pool and been running the pump about 2-3 hours per day.There is no timer so I have to turn it on and off. I may look into getting a timer to work with it.Suction function is goodPretty easy to set up but the instruction were kinda minimal.I have double intake ports, two hoses that got to a T then one to the pump. I needed to continue using my old hoses and T. The new pump did not come with the T.

I went to numerous stores locally to find a pump and none of them had anything I needed. I found this on Amazon and it was priced just where I needed it to be. I've been using it for years without an issue.

Save your headache, we tried to go with another brand after our tank busted... The hoses didn't match with the fitting rings and it was a nightmare. We returned that and bought this one, a little bigger than the stock model that came with the pool. Perfect fit, works like a charm.

Bought this filter 2 years ago. While waiting to setup a new pool, we kept the boxed filter in our loft, not outside. Hooked it up last month and the filtering does not work! Backwash and rinse have a lot of pressure, but change to the filter setting and "nothing"...no water, no filtering. Very disappointing. Even had some pool experts come out and they couldn't figure the problem either. And I see I'm not the only one who purchased one of these having the same issues.

Replaced my regular above ground pool pump that uses filters with this sand filter this year and it has been amazing to 1, not have to purchase those filters and 2, not have so much pool clean up as this is a very strong suction power and output. Not overly loud but would love it even better if it was quieter. However, for the money and how it works, absolute love it so far!
