ABSTRACT REASONING TESTS: Sample Test Questions and answers for the Abstract Reasoning tests. This type of Abstract Reasoning test is designed to assess your ability to identify patterns amongst abstract shapes where irrelevant and distracting material will often lead to incorrect assumptions and answers. The test therefore measures your ability to change track, critically evaluate and generate hypotheses and requires you to query judgements as you go along. This comprehensive testing manual provides you with sample test questions that are similar to the real test. Review: Great to sharpen your mind - I needed this to practice for interviewing and sharpen my skills. Able to increase my speed significantly. It also has explanations for each problem. Review: Good Start - Perhaps a little more dialogue about the process/strategy for identifying the patterns and some more challenging examples. Overall though this was very helpful.

Such a poor book.. bad bad
I have found many mistakes in this book, some problems solution are missing and explanations of solution is poorly explained. I dont even want to give one star.

Poorly Executed
I ignored the reviews about the book having answers flat out wrong or poorly explained, mainly because this was really the only book I could find on Abstract Reasoning. They were right. Overall the book COULD be very helpful, but it's too short and obviously not checked for errors. There's only 100 questions total, consisting of 5 tests with 20. You're given the tests will no explanation of how they work, but it's built so that you teach yourself and eventually by the time you get to Q20, you're solving them pretty quickly. Problem is, by 20 questions, you're just barely scratching the surface of that pattern theme. You need way more repetition to perfect this in preparation for a real test. And back to the errors, there are probably 10-15 answers questions that either flat out have the wrong answer, have multiple answers that apply, or are just poorly explained beyond understanding. When 10-15% of your test is wrong, you need to re-evaluate and correct. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy another book unless the reviews were glowing.

Good but can be better
A lot of exercises with explained answers, so it's good to practice and understand the logic behind it. 4 stars because the exercises in every group are very similar in patterns so you get used to the figures and the tricks behind it. Moreover, I am sure at least 2/3 answers are not correct.

Inhaltliche Fehler
