Exceeded my expectations
Back in January 2014 I purchased one of these pens because it was supposed to be similar in nib feel to a much more expensive pen I was considering. This was a cheap way to determine if I like the feel. It is now February 2017 and I am still using the same pen. It has far outlasted my expectations. I do not use the pen to write novels or color pictures but as a light weight purse pen, I have not been able to beat it. If nothing else I thought the ink would have dried out long before now. Perhaps I was lucky but I must say that when it finally does dry up, I will be replacing it with this same type of pen. (I never did purchase the expensive pen.)

Smooth writing, solid feel, portable... and they're called "LE Pen"
I got my first LE pen at a Books-a-million store. They are so calming to write with, I used mine in my journal almost every day. After a month or two, the nib started to retreat into the barrel, It was still functional, and as long as I held it right it worked fine. Eventually that pen dried out and I ordered these through Amazon. It was working beautifully just as my last one did. Why they are so inexpensive I have no idea, they're beautiful, attach securely to my journal (Moleskine, and B&N Readables), and are light and fit in pockets without stabbing through your pants or leaking. Unfortunately I misplaced my last one :,( but I intend on getting more anyway.Oh, one more thing. After a few weeks or so after the ink dries on the paper, theirs a sepia-glow that shows around the writing, It only does it in my Readable journal though, so I think it's a reaction to the paper. I love the effect though because it makes the paper look older without damaging it.They're not expensive and I like them and I really think you will like them too.

The perfect pen!
I never learned how to hold a pen correctly, so even as a righty, I constantly smudge my writing. I searched for a pen that offered solid ink flow with limited smudging. Le Pen (not La Pen, as the seller is calling it here...you should fix that!) does just that. I first found this pen in a stationary store in Los Angeles. When I moved back to Boston, I had to search online for my favortie pen.Compact, smooth, even flowing, and pretty much smudge-proof, Le Pen is the only pen I will use!

Bad Deal on Uchida Pens
Bad deal on Uchinda Pens from Buy That Gift -- they were selling pens for 83 cents on the site, but charged me $5 for one black one! When I gave a bad review, the company called and presssured me to change my rating before Christmas so they wouldn't lose business and blamed the problem on Amazon. I wouldn't buy from this company again.

Slender pen
This thin pen is perfect for use with planners (e.g., Day Runner) which have a small holding cap-loop that a regular pen is too large for, and for other instances in which a thicker pen doesn't work as well.
