Architec Gripperwood Cutting Boards, Set of 2, Beechwood with Non-slip Gripper Feet, 11 by 8-Inches and 14 by 11-inches

Was excited to use the boards as I have bought something similar from BBBY but with a different wood. Unfortunately when I opened the packaging, the boards rests unevenly on the counter. Both the small and big one. I finally realized that on both boards, one of the the gripper feet was not properly secured. I fixed the one on the big board but the small board was not fixable.

Pretty worth the money. Beech nuts are pretty hard- the color is beautiful. Even though it came with some sort of finish (already oiled?) I oiled with food grade mineral and let it dry and began using it. The sizes are perfect for everyday use. I love the fact it has slightly raised gripper- my counter top always has water. Very happy.

I originally saw the larger of the set used over the sink of a travel trailer. I needed something like that, so I contacted the owner via YouTube. They said they had inherited it from his mother. But, they photographed their unit extensively and this lead me to the manufacturer name on one of the feet. I bought the set just to get the bigger one (which fits like it was made for the travel trailer sink!). But wasn't sure what to do with the smaller one. Then I discovered it was perfect for cutting down one pound block butter for baking. It does NOT slide! And it is easy to clean and store. I recommend this set!

I love these boards. As first, I thought the small one was too small, but now that we have used them for several months, its a great size. No, you are not going to carve a turkey on it, but for making a sandwich, or cutting up apples, its perfect. The best part about these is the feet. Those don't slip at all, which is nice when you are trying to hack something apart with a knife!These boards are also very sturdy, but not terribly heavy. The wood is pretty tough, but will still get knife marks. If they are too deep though, you can sand it flat again.

These boards have grippy pads at each under-corner and they lay flat on the counter with no movement during heavy chopping and vigorous slicing. The wood surface is easier on your knives than plastic or glass and it’s a breeze to clean with a scratch resistant sponge and paper towel. Since it’s a wood product and somewhat porous, be sure to dry it thoroughly before putting it away. Certainly, if you want years of duty from this product, don’t soak it in the sink and just rest it behind the kitchen faucet. To drain dry. And never put it in your dishwasher.

Pretty nice cutting boards, but the image provided doesnt really match what they look like. The grippers are supposed to be a kind of grayish blue but they arrived brown for some reason? Overall, not a big deal but it doesnt match my kitchen because of that.

A great set of cutting boards. Rubber corner feet stabilize board well on our tiled counter surface. Thick wood absorbs chopping impacts well. We use small size for slicing fruit and veggies with the larger one to cut meats, chop onion, crush garlic, and any other pungent foods. Despite never being oiled, previous Gripperwood lasted over ten years and could have gone another ten but was replaced only because we failed to dry it properly which allowed mold to form on one edge. These should last a decade or more and for the price is an outstanding value.

Bought this cutting board sets because Of worrying using the plastic ones, very good in quality and has very good grip on the board, doesn’t slide easy and easy to clean, one for meat and one for vegi, if you cut food a lot in your kitchen, you should have one of these
