Phone and handheld radio holder!
2015 Wrangler JKR. Purchased this to hold my handheld radio for trail rides. Using the radio belt clip, I bought this to have a place to hang the radio where it wouldn’t bounce off and was still easy to get to. Bonus it’s also an extra drink holder.I then upgraded my radio to Apple CarPlay so the wireless charger I was using wasn’t necessary (and wasn’t an ideal solution as the phone would occasionally bounce out but, it was alright the majority of the time and meant I could just throw the phone in and go). Having to plug into CarPlay meant the wireless charger was redundant - which also meant I needed a place to mount the phone. This is a great solution. The phone sits in the front and the radio clips to the side. Neither fall off or even move around on trail rides now. They’re exactly where I want them. Easy to use phone holder on the daily. Plug it in and then slide into the front of this holder.NOTE: you cannot use as a phone holder AND can holder at the same time. I have plenty of cup holders so that’s not critical but it might be an issue for others. Maybe with one of the thinner cans you could do both but doesn’t work with a standard can and my iPhone 13.Install was a bit of a pain. You can just pop out the trim piece - you don’t need a torx to remove the trim as the plastic torx on the front are just plugs. You will need a longer socket wrench as the bolts are recessed quite a bit behind that trim piece. Getting the plates lined up behind the grab bar wasn’t painful but it took a few tries to get it right. No impact to usability of the grab bar once installed.Highly recommend! This is the best phone and radio solution I’ve found. I don’t like the mount bars that go across the dash - I think they’re ugly and bulky (and I would need 2 adapters to hold both items held by this one piece), on top of being expensive. This way, my dash is still clean and I have access to the full duck pond, all for a great price. Love it!

Perfect
This phone/drink holder was very easy to install. Be very careful when removing the insert of the handle. There are a 4 tabs that are easy to break. Once installed, it is very durable and easy to use. Does a good job holding the phone. Instructions for assy. 1. remove handle insert with sharp edge screwdriver. 2. Remove screws on each side of handle. 3. Place spacer on right side of handle. 4. Place holder on left side. 5 Re install screws. 6. replace insert into handle.

Works great
Don’t think I would use the cup holder. I would be scared it would dump the drink. The phone holder is great though. The only bad thing is the positioning. It puts the charger port right in front of the vent and caused a cloth cord to fry. But that’s as much as indictment on my Jeeps HVAC system causing humidity as it is the mount.

Works great for holding my phone where i can see it!
I had previously used a weather-tech phone holder where my cup holder was in my JK. But had to really take my eyes off the road to see the map on my phone. It worked but thought there might be something better out there. There was, and this is it! Perfect place to hold my phone. I love it. It's also an extra drink holder if you need one, but I use it more for my phone. It might not hold doing some seriously 4x4 playing around, but for regular street driving... it's the bomb!

Drinks will 100% fly
The very first coffee I put in the cupholder after installing flew into my center console the second I pulled away from the drive thru (luckily it was iced). I didn't think the cup was too large to fit, turns out anything larger than a redbull will just jump out with the slightest bump or turn and a big bump will send anything and everything in the cupholder flying. I liked the look of this product and was excited to use it but the design is poor. The spring assisted cupholder shouldn't be open in the front for the drinks to escape of they're larger than 2" in diameter. Unfortunately this was a regretful buy.

5+ Stars
I am rating this a 5+ stars even though I wish the spring was a little stiffer. I got this for my phone more than a cup holder and to be honest I haven't used it as a cup holder yet. I had the holder for the covy on top of the dash but my phone would get extremely hot driving with the sun beating on it and half the time it was hard to see with the glare. With this holder it moves it down out of the sun and moves it a little closer so you don't have to lean forward to touch the screen. Now to address the spring issue. I should tell you that I have been on some pretty nasty trails in Colorado and my phone has only flown out of the holder one time so other than that is has worked perfectly. With that being said, the spring issue might be more of a personal preference than any issues with the product itself. If this one ever breaks I would definitely buy another one. Oh almost forgot, with this holder you only need one hand to get it in and out of the holder, which is much more convenient than the one I had for the top of the dash, I had to wrestle with two hands to get my phone in and out.

Intentionally lame?
So this phone holder specifically made for Jeeps would be perfect unless of course you were trying to hold your phone or use it with a Jeep. The spring is so weak that merely leaving my driveway was enough to send my phone onto the passenger side floor. This could have easily been avoided by just installing a stronger spring. But for some reason I guess they thought it would be funnier to install a spring so weak that it couldn't actually hold the phone in place if you use the Jeep as you would a Jeep.I was able to put the phone back and if I drove just gently enough I was almost confident that it wouldn't fall again. But then I noticed the second issue. The device was designed to hold The phone almost directly next to the heating vent. Sure you could close the heating vent, unless you want to be warm. This could have easily been avoided by just bending the arm slightly more toward the passenger side door.
