First look at mental reprogramming
Terrible acting and horrible plot. Its wonderful...This is a blatant example of the programming done now on a global bases to hoax the sheeple into the right boxes. If you dont understand this message you wont like this movie.

Déjà Vu with great actors!
I liked this movie very much. The story is interesting and the actors are wonderful. Jaclyn Smith is beautiful in her dual role. Nigel Terry, as in Excalibur" is handsome and acts really well. Shelley Winters is excellent. Claire Bloom, in a small role as the mother of Jaclyn Smith, is very good. The film is from 1985 and is quite good.

Disappointed
I am sorry I wasted my money on this film. I bought it because I like Jaclyn Smith, but it was not a film I would have expected her to make. It was a strange film and,I felt, rather crude.

Great Movie for a Rainy Afternoon
Slow moving. Found the premise predictable. Good for a rainy afternoon when you want to fall asleep!

A nostalgic movie that does NO JUSTICE to the book
This happened to be the first movie I remembered watching on TV when I came to this country some 30 years ago. I always liked the Jacqueline Smith and the subject matter was intriguing, so I always remembered this movie. I watched again yesterday immediately after reading the book "Always" for the first time, and found myself extremely disappointed with the superficial and hastily storytelling in the movie. The casting and acting hit every single stereotypical angle, which is abhorrent (compared to the book) and borderline ridiculous. There is no depth of character, no gradual development of the character or the plot. The shallow representation of the plot seriously ruined the story, which could have been so much better. The movie took place in urban England, rather than the late 1970s Los Angeles, so much of the outside scenes were eliminated.I don't think I'll ever watch this movie again. If you curious and want to enjoy both, definitely go with the movie first then read the book.

Deja Vu
I always love Jaclyn Smith acting especially when she acting in the movie charlies angles in the 1970. She is a very good actor and in this movie I really liked the story line and the love.
