Great Paddle Holster, Great Price
Got this for (as you would imagine) my .380 Bersa Thunder. I've been using it for concealed/open carry and I have no complaints. The paddle feels great inside the pants; it stays in place without rubbing against your thigh. The weapon fits snuggly into the holster so there's no worry of it coming out unintentionally but not to the point where you couldn't get it out in a hurry if the moment ever came that you needed to. Better price than I've seen it at Sportsman's Warehouse/Gander Mountain. Holster shipped super fast with Amazon Prime. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice pistol but needed work to fit the Thunder Combat
I purchased this holster for the Bersa Thunder 380 Combat. I knew there are some design differences between the standard Thunder 380 and the Combat, but other reviews said the holster worked fine so I decided to give it a try. I'm pleased with the holster but it took a little effort to get it working.Initial fit was VERY TIGHT, to the point where I had to jerk very hard on the pistol to release it from the holster. In some cases I thought the holster was going to pull out of my pants. I didn't find this acceptable so i used some automotive tire cleaner to smooth up the interior surface of the holster. Much better! Then I noticed the pistol didn't want to seat correctly into the holster. I have a Fobus holster for my S&W 642 and there's a definite click when the gun seats (when the holster grabs onto the trigger guard). I didn't get the same seating with the Bersa. A little investigation showed the holster doesn't have a cutout (or molding, relief, etc) for the slide release. The slide release sticks out about 1/8 inch on the Combat. I'm not sure if this differs from the stand Bersa. Either way, the slide release rode up on the holster and caused the holster to spread apart far enough to prevent a positive grip on the trigger guard. The slide release actually started gouging the plastic. I decided to remove some material from the holster where the gouge was starting. I slowly removed material, checked the fit, removed more, checked...until the pistol fit in just right. After about 10 minutes of work I now have a nice setup for my Bersa Thunder 380 Combat.

Great Quality, Ergonomic, a little tight at first.
No problem giving this holster five stars. I've had one of these for my 38 special for a number of years. This one for the the Bersa 380 is even better with a latex rubber backing on the paddle. The height of the holster (it rides high) makes it easy for complete concealment of the gun while wearing a sweat shirt or even a shirt worn outside, but at the same time making your weapon easily accessible. I will never open-carry. It scares the hell out of people and invites police questioning. Some have complained that this holster is tight on the Bersa 380 and hard to draw until it breaks in. Being difficult to draw your defense weapon could cost you your life or someone else his/her life. When wearing a weapon, you have an obligation not only to protect yourself, but also to protect others.Well, here is how to break it in immediately. There is a seam where the trigger guard of the Bersa's 380 rests. This is the tight spot on this holster preventing an easy draw and making this holster a level 2.... a good thing. Spread it gently (or not so gently...it won't break) with your fingers to widen the holster at that point. Then spray the whole inside of the holster, especially the trigger guard, with WD40.Also, remember that these Fobus holsters are actually a level 2, but without straps to hold your weapon in. However, your weapon will not dislodge from this holster if you jostle it or are running. The trigger and trigger guard of your weapon are protected by friction when in the holster. Grasp the grips of your weapon and use your thumb to press the inside of the holster on the paddle to draw. This is a design feature that makes it difficult for someone to come from behind and draw your weapon.... a very good thing.

seems kind of flimsy
Its a good fit on my 380, but all in all it seems kind of flimsy and cheaply made. The actual paddle is the worst part I think, I just feel like I'm going to break this thing. Holds somewhat snug , slight print under a tshirt, good under a coat or over shirt. Good retention. Good starter conceal holster, but I'd invest in something better

A great holster at a great price!
I love this holster. This is the second Fobus paddle holster that I own - the first one I purchased was from a local store for my Taurus Millenium Pro pistol. The holster itself offers good retention and offers a good concealment option, as the firearm is held close to the body. Draw can be a little challenging at first - as you need to draw the pistol straight up out of the holster - but that's why one should practice! The one thing that some people might notice is that the retention is too tight sometimes. This will obviously ease up over time. Another trick that was suggested to me from a user on a message board: spray the inside, of the holster, with a nice coat of silicone spray. Set it upright for a few hours, to let the excess drain off. Then take a can of compressed air and blow off the extra silicone and wipe the inside with a clean towel or rag. Of course, you will want to leave a light coat of silicone in there to ease the draw. To protect your slide from wear and showing any nicks, while you practice your draw - you can also spray a little of the silicone stuff on your finger and give the slide a very light coating.Once again - a great holster at a great price.
