Product was delivered quickly and easy to use. I didn't use as much as I thought. I painted 14 x 6ft X 3ft (with a base board) and 3 X 6ft X 6ft fence panels and I only used just over a quarter of the 20l. Initially it was quite dark but as it dried it lightened to a lovely natural colour. It took about 2 days to dry properly and the colour lightened completely by about the 3rd or 4th day. (See pictures - picture 1 is the fence part painted on the first day, picture 2 is the colour of the fence after it had completely dried). Make sure you have a decent sized brush and white spirit to clean it after.The drying time is a bit of an issue because it can't get wet in the 24-48hours it takes to dry so you need to make sure you have a few days of rain-free weather. (Not always easy in the UK)The smell is quite strong and the diesel smell lingered for just over a week after it had fully dried.Would advise washing clothing SEPARATELY a few times before putting them back into drawers with other clothing. I made the mistake of washing them with other clothes and they all came out with a hint of diesel smell. Despite washing the top I wore twice there is still a strong smell on it. I would definitely advise wearing clothes you aren't attached to along with gloves. It doesn't really stain your hands but the it is a strong product and brought me out on a skin rash where it came in contact with bare skin.Very pleased with the results and will use the rest of it on the shed etc. If you need to paint fences that haven't been treated before I would highly recommend it.

Best i have found for all my exterior wood. I prefer the light brown, which does fade over time but the protection is still there. I use it every couple of years and it does the job! Brings out the grain lovely on me gazebo! Got a good price on the 20 litres and worked out a lot cheaper than buying multiple 4 litres. Nice smell too it, like the old days! Just keep away from your precious plants and lawn. All in all a good product, this actually penetrates the wood rather than the other products you can get that simply coat the wood and wears off over time....super quick delivery too from the supplier, although i note the supplier has now changed and the price has gone up by £25??!! Got mine for £35.

Good value 20 liter pack. Easy to use with spray or brush but best to use mask goggles and old clothes.Light brown looks good and smell faded quite quickly.Fences now look great.

It stinks a bit but good as wood preservative. It's not light brown though more dark brown / black in my estimation. It should last longer than the water based paints and wood stains which are more common these days.

Used to preserve my wood fence, worked great!!!Note: I used about 7-8l to finish both sides of my 6 fences (1.8m x 0.9m or 6 foot x 3 foot), 20l looks enough to do 15 fences.
