Works great for what it is.
I picked these up to put on my Bushnell red dot. The back part of the red dot has a small lip, so I'm going to glue the back cap onto the red dot. I'm not going to rate this product low for that reason, as these covers aren't made for this Bushnell. The quality is nice. They flip down and stay down with no flopping up, as there is a lip that keeps the cover open until you want to close them. There are no hinges to break either, as the joint on the lens covers are made of the same tuff rubber as the rest of the cover.

Close but not practical
I bought these cover for my Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 1xRed Dot Sight Riflescope. Actually, they fit perfectly on the scope and initially I thought they would be a great addition to keep the elements off the scope. Unfortunately, the scope itself has virtually no lip for the covers to seat. The scope has a barely perceptible lip but when you open or (especially) when closing, the whole thing will come right off. Since the covers are a tight fit, you will be struggling to get it back on. The only way to open and close the cover for use is to hold the piece from moving when opening the cover. I haven't tried shooting with it but I doubt they will stay on when the gun fires. So, the covers are perfect for the job, it's just the Bushnell scope doesn't provide a proper lip for the cover. I might trying black silicone sealer to hold them on, it might work.

FALSE ADVERTISING, WILL NOT FIT 30MM RED DOT!!!
I got these for father's day, they were what I wanted and were the last pieces for my inexpensive carbine. These "30mm red dot" covers claim to fit "Most 30mm Red Dot scopes", sorry but they don't fit ANY 30mm red dot scopes. When you have a 30mm red dot you measure the 30mm lens, not the scope housing (which if that way 30mm it would fit). These covers will only fit a 25mm red dot or a scope with a objective housing (eye piece) diameter of 30mm. These are falsely advertised, cheaply made, smell really bad (like a nasty Chinese factory), and don't live up to the Butler Creek name.

Fits 28mm ACOG/Red Dot Perfectly
The material is firm, but stretchy. It took a bit of getting (not too much, lets you know it's not going anywhere) to have them fitted on, but once there they didn't budge. A quick flick on either side quickly exposes your optics. Material doesn't feel bad against your eye and cheek.I bought these to replace the absolute garbage covers that came with my Bushnell optics. Those wouldn't stay shut and I had them rubber-banded closed. These work fantastically, protecting the glass and allowing me to see with two motions. These should come standard on any 28mm scope. For $15, you can't beat this. Get yourself a pair.

Decent for the price.
Decent caps. Bought them for my Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot. I knew I was going to have to super glue the one side. I read that in another review. However, after mounting the scope there was no clearance between the rail and scope. Unless I use the profile riser mount, which absolutely looks goofy on my Marlin 1895.Decent caps for the price.

one good eye
Fair fit and function on a Bushnell Trophy. I wouldn't protect a scope worth more than $100 with them. These had raised lips to snap into a ring groove for both ends, however my scope only had a groove on the eye cup side. So, the base ring sits cocked on a smooth bore end and doesn't look very pro. However, they fit well on the grooved end, they're snug on both ends should keep out the elements. I'll probably buy something else eventually, however, they'll do for now.

Just what I needed.
I've been looking for flip caps for my Bushnell Trophy for quite some time now. I've been using one of the Butler Creek Bikini Covers for the last year or so but I am going to just go right ahead and throw that in the junk bin now that I have these covers. I like that I don't have to keep track of them. They stay with the rifle. They fit practically perfectly. The front part of the optic doesn't have a lip like the rear does so the cover doesn't fit on perfectly straight but I look at that as being extra secure. There's added tension there. Now I know for sure that it isn't going anywhere. I haven't tested them in the field yet but I have no doubt they will function exactly as I hope. They're flip covers. Not some tacticool pos that serves no real purpose. If you have a red dot and want to protect the lens buy these. You won't regret it.

poorly designed rubber like material
These scope covers are poorly made and designed of a rubber like material. I wonder how well they would hold up under extreme heat and cold. Definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't suggest putting these on expensive scopes. These covers have no moving parts. They are entirely made of one piece rubber. As you can see from previous reviews that modifications had to made by a number of buyers to make them work. I probably will end up just throwing mind away. This was a poor decision to buy.

Much better than the sight's original cover
I like the covers, they really work well on my Bushnell TRS25 red dot sight. (The only problem I have is the sight is mounted so low that the attaching ring of the covers only fit sideways because of the "bump" that is also the hinge. This has nothing to do with the quality of the cover, of course!).
