rusted baseboard heat no more
Easy to install though a few things to keep in mind: 1: need to measure before because tall is significantly taller than standard 2: You may need to scrape out caulking at top of your existing baseboard to ensure proper click-in, a putty knife does the job 4: you may need to trim the unit, shears do the job 3: end caps are taller than unit so you need to trim at bottom on or between the grooves (tape measure needed as each unit is diff't). Worth the price.

Needs modifications for older baseboard radiator/cover
The media could not be loaded. I'm giving this 5 stars because the product overall does what it says and is cost effective. I'm writing this review to help others who may have an older home/style of baseboard heat or have it placed where in such a way that these end caps do not work for them without modification.I have a home that was built in 1969 that has forced hot water heating system. The baseboard covers in my bathroom are original, and over time have rusted and corroded and look horrible (even after painting).I read through the directions for buying the neat heat covers very carefully, and I measured and found that I would need the tall to cover my baseboard radiator. The radiator that I wanted covered butted up against the wall at one end, and it ended about 5" from the door jamb of the entry to the bathroom (see photos). I cut and installed the cover with no issues (except for it being difficult to cut), but when we went to put on the end caps, we found that they would not fit/slide in. The hot water pipe comes in from the wall that the baseboard butted up against, so there was nothing to do to be able to slide it over. My husband tried to cut out a chunk, but he said it wouldn't work. In the end, we decided to forego an endcap on that end. I have since seen that they offer a splice plate that probably would work (it's similar to what was on the existing baseboard). For the left side, we had to cut the bottom off, but we still could not get it to snap on without unsnapping the rest of the cover. The lower latch was not long enough to catch on the bottom of the original baseboard. My husband noticed that our older baseboards were angled in a bit at the bottom, so that could be why. We ended up leaving it that way. The baseboard cover wiggles a bit if you touch it (see video), but it's not going to fall off or anything, so it's livable, especially for how much it improved the appearance of the radiator. The end cap also does not completely cover the space/untiled wall that was behind the original cover. We scootched it over as much as possible to minimize the gap, but it still shows. The product page doesn't not have the actual measurements of the piece, so it would have been impossible to realize (by measuring) that the new end cap would not cover this area and that we would need to tile or paint behind it to cover it.So, lessons learned:1. Examine your current baseboard radiator and know where the heat comes in and look for any other impediments (my husband also found a nail that was in the way) to sliding this cover on - especially the end caps.2. Measuring - measure to find out what size neatheat to get, but also you should take off your current baseboard end caps and baseboard to see if there is anything behind them or other issues that you want to be aware of.3. If you have a baseboard that butts up against the wall, consider buying the splice plate instead of an end cap. I posted a question if it can be used this way, and the responses were varied between someone who had done just that and others who said it was only meant to go between two baseboards. If I were doing it again, I'd buy the splice plate.

Fits well but does not stay on well
I love the ease of installation with this line of products, but the end caps tend to get knocked off easily (especially if you have little kids that are curious)
