I love going camping with my wife and we had a small fold up bbq to take with us which was great and did us. Our daughter then came along and we stopped going camping for a little while. Now my daughter is older we've decided to try camping again. We've come to realise however that we're going to need a bigger bbq for the extra mouth though whilst still keeping everything compact and space saving.This bbq came up in my quest to find something suitable so had to give it a try.I opened the box, ready to pull out a bag of screws and spend a while putting everything together. I was pleasantly surprised to find that apart from removing the plastic bags from the grill and trays, everything is already put together and ready to go. Amazing!!!The legs fold out to give the bbq some height and it's a really good size for a family.My only criticism is that the cooking grill seems quite flimsy in comparison to the rest of the unit but still up to the job of holding a few burgers.I'm pleased with this bbq and look forward to taking my daughter on her first camping experience

Bought this after my ex ruined a small bbq that I'd bought for myself last summer. (basically torched it!)Id always used the little tray single tray barbecues which are great if you have something to stand them on, not so great on a newly laid patio and wooden decking.I live alone now and didn't want to go to the expense of buying another barbecue for myself and saw this portable one and thought it was perfect for my needs.Not only does it fold completely flat for storage (the box depth is no more than 3inches deep?) but also makes it portable to throw in the car for caravan holidays and beach picnics - something you can't do with the bigger ones!This is probably big enough for a hungry 2, maybe 3 - 4 smaller portions but I usually rotate my bbq food anyway so that it remains hot until ready to eat.It stands a out 2 feet off the ground so not huge but far enough that it's not burning the grass underneath and can kneel at as opposed to sitting on the floor with it!I noticed other reviewers mentioned the depth is not large enough for coals and that it's too close to the mesh. There are no instructions with this prebuilt product, but there are 2 levels that the bowl can sit in. If inserted correctly, in the bottom channel, you are able to slide the tray out (no handles supplied so you will need to use utensils to grip the holes in the side). This allows approx 2 inches for you to add coals/briquettes but if you really wanted to you could just remove the mesh grill which sits in the top channel to add your coal and this gives you approx 4 inches away from the grid.I've tried to take pictures of my measurements and apologise for old school feet and inches but hopefully this will illustrate my rather poor description!Complete with a vented ashtray, thus should be very easy to clean and reuse - the only reason I've knocked off a star at this stage is that I haven't put it to use yet, it's currently no warmer than 4 degrees c during the day atm and I prefer my warm kitchen but I'll update one way or the other once it's in use 😊

I haven't used this yet though it looks as if it will be ok. It seems quite stable. However I have a number of comments:There are no instructions whatsoever.It came with a couple of dents (despite being really well packed so I suspect. these must have been there before it was packed). However these shouldn't affect its function.The metal has rather sharp edges.The legs were stiff to unfod especially as these had some of the sharp edges.

Used this yesterday when the grandchildren arrived it fits together very quickly and easily although its small it still holds enough to keep the food supply in good flow just right as you can easily put it up and down the food cooked lovely with a great barbecued taste the chicken thighs tasted delicious. The draw for the coal is a great idea so easy to fill and empty without having to keep moving the grill plate. To clean it is a quick 5 minute job as nothing sticks to it. I am more than impressed will be taking it the beach next time i highly recommend this bbq

amazing portable bbq. You can take it anywhere with you. It is very compact, easy to use and also very easy to clean. It is really well made and is quite sturdy. Great sizing, you can easily cook steak or kebab. You can also cook vegetables as it is multipurpose. Definitely recommend buying this portable bbq.

Package arrived on time, very easy to assemble, but…. Absolutely useless as a BBQ as the tray for the charcoal is far too shallow. A piece of coal any much thicker than an adult’s thumb would be touching the grill. This makes it (i) very difficult to light and (ii) highly likely to burn food rather than cook it through.I have been BBQ-ing on charcoal for many years – I have even made BBQs out of bricks and fencing wire that were infinitely better than this. Such silly construction, as another inch or two more depth in the tray is all it needs.Very sadly I only had a chance to try it out two days after the return period expired, as this product is of no use.

Arrived today and used immediately. Good little size, perfect for family of 3. Managed to cook two lots of chicken in one setting (one after the other). Rectangular shape means it’s easy to spread coal so that there’s a high heat end and a low heat end. Very easy to clean, and it’s very handy that the tray can be removed, and the grill was easy to clean too. One star almost docked because some paint on the outside of the under side of the tray has faded off already, but it didn’t hamper the cooking nor did it smell acrid or impair the flavour of the food. Bought a second one already for when I need more cooking capacity for guests. Would definitely recommend.

ho preso questo prodotto anche grazie alle numerose valutazioni da 5 stelle ma la mie esperienze non è per niente positiva:dopo il primo utilizzo si è imbarcata la griglia( dove si appoggia la carne ecc..) e dopo il secondo le gambe di sostegno hanno iniziato a cedere,una di queste quasi completamente piegata.sinceramente non lo ricomprerei ; con soli 10 euro in più si possono trovare altri modelli decisamente più solidi.
