Simple design. Lightweight. And like others have mentioned, the ink flows nicely. As a pen enthusiast, I was told to not store my pens this way up due to gravity but no problems with these so far. I am a fine point nib pen fan wth ink bottles at my desk. It's nice to have a low maintenence quick ballpoint pen to grab. Enough in this pack to not be devastated if lost. Enough pens to keep and pens to share. Much better than the over-abundace of Bics. every office should have these instead but could be the type of satisfaction offered that makes people "forget" to return the pen. I suspected maybe these are so cheap because they skimped on the amount of ink in the cartridge but that is not the case.
