The GreenTech GT3000 is an active air purification system, meaning it produces natural oxidizers and ionization to treat the entire indoor environment.  Unlike traditional air purifiers which are passive, filtering only the particles which reach the filter, the GT3000 creates ionization which attracts particles of all sizes, causing them to clump together and fall out of our breathing space.  The process is called flocculation. Particles in the indoor environment have a positive charge. By introducing negative charges the positively charged particles are attracted, they come together by the thousands and tens of thousands, gaining mass to where they fall to the ground or are captured in the HVAC filter. The GT3000 is able to reduce this health threat, providing a indoor air quality solution unlike traditional passive air filtration devices.

I had mine several years and then it would just stop working and come back. It Possibly had a short inside somewhere but I never had it repaired. I loved it and it worked great.
