Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition (PS4)

It’s a game i can’t really say nothing about...

Apsalutly a grate game but might not be for everyone like all games.

So I got this on its release day. It’s taken me until now to finish it as I shelved it for quite a while due to it being (I hate to say for a Borderlands game) really dull.In the previous two instalments of this franchise I’ve had no trouble with playing as a sniper. Enemies would be easy to target from a distance and be fairly simple to dispatch. That’s not the case anymore though. It’s frantic to the point of sheer frustration, enemies come in swarms and have really unpredictable movements. Sniping is out of the window and I spent most of the game using a legendary smg using tactics similar to playing a COD game.It seems the developers aimed for the game to be used by streamers and online gamers. Okay there are options to change how loot drops but even that seemed to fail as items dropped were most definitely not for my character class.I feel this has been a let down when compared with both the original and second instalment, and dare I say the pre-sequel..? All of which I have played through with every character, yet I feel no drive to do the same with this one.My favourite part is probably the Cameo boss fight with Pain and Terror (Penn and Teller) which is mainly due to Penn being the voice actor for the part. The rest of the story is all very far fetched, frustrating and tedious. I don’t like leaving spoilers, considering it’s taken me until now and I know other people that haven’t played it.DLC wise I’ve played through The Handsome Jackpot and Love, Guns and Tentacles which were actually more enjoyable than the main game. I still think their best is yet to come and a lack of raid bosses thus far in either the main game or it’s DLCs is a bit of a disappointment. I don’t think they can top either The Secret Armory or Assault on Dragon Keep personally...

Package arrived late but that was probably due to New Year postal services. Word of warning, the voucher that comes with the game for the extra content is out of date (13/9/20) although luckily the system did accept the codes when entered.

Great game as good as the previous titles

DO NOT BUY THE DELUXE VERSION. Ordered the deluxe version of this game and when husband went to enter the code enclosed for the downloadable content (ie the deluxe part!) he discovered that it was over 12MONTHS OUT OF DATE! Will be returning

It's a brilliant game would recommend

A lot of amazing effort went into this game but little replayability

I've played the other games for a long time. Finished them all with all characters. This is a great addition to the brand and is super playable and addictive.

The base game arrived with an invalid deluxe content code. I will be returning the product and just buy the elsewhere as it’s not worth the price paid without the additional content
