Worked As Advertised - Great Price - Dependable
I purchased several of these for a recent trip to Europe and Africa. All the adapters were from the same manufacturer and every one of them worked well every time I used it.If you are looking for information on what kind of adapter you will need for your electronics or whatever else you might plug in, here it is very simply:1) This is simply an adapter, much like the one you might use at home to convert a three prong plug into a two prong one for an older outlet. It DOES NOT convert the power supply in any way!2) To determine if you can use this adapter for your computer, phone, whatever, look at the back of your device's charging plug or power supply and look for the label with all the small print electrical information on it. Somewhere on the label, near the top, you will see the word "INPUT" with some numbers following it, usually (hopefully) "100-240v." If it DOES have those numbers (100-240v, sometimes 100-250v) you can use this adapter almost anywhere around the world without any problems because your power supply can handle any voltage within the range of 100 and 240 volts and if there is a place in the world outside that range, I don't know where it is. Your device's power source is handling the conversions you need to safely operate your device so all you need is this adapter so it will fit in the local outlet.3) On some devices, especially older ones and things like curling irons and hair dryers, that "INPUT" area will only have one number, probably "110v." That device will not convert correctly and you will immediately, with nasty smells, burn out whatever you try to plug in when the massive 220v power surges through your unprepared device. I wouldn't even bother taking stuff like that overseas. The price was very low and considering how I had no problems with any of them, I would rate them as an excellent value. Since the price is so low, I would recommend purchasing two so you have one as a back-up or for the occasional travel companion who, inevitably, doesn't even think about stuff like this.

High quality, versatile plug which will work in Schuko outlets
This is a very compact, well made plug adapter that works in the recessed, grounded Schuko outlets that are becoming increasingly common in Europe. Another significant advantage is that it will convert a 3-prong US power cord, which is why I purchased it. Moreover, it has an additional, ungrounded outlet, which for example would enable you to simultaneously charge camera and laptop. On a recent trip to northern Europe across 6 countries it was the only adapter I used. It is very rugged and my only concern was that it is so unobtrusive I was ever in danger of leaving it behind in a hotel outlet. The Schuko pins are slightly thicker than used by older plugs, so you may encounter outlets this adapter won't work in (I didn't), which means you probably should have an adapter along for those, a minor precaution I took, but it wasn't necessary in my case.

OREI Grounded Universal 2 in 1 Schuko Plug Adapter - Germany
This adapter is great for use in Germany. It also works for other countries in Europe that use the Type E/F socket. There are 3 great features about this product.1. There are 2 places to plug in your electronics. This is great as many of us travel with a cell phone, camera (especially when traveling) and laptop or PDA. The electronics add up and this plug allows you to charge/use 2 devices at once from one plug.2. This plug is compact. In the past, we had to convert the power in order to use it to charge/use our electronics overseas. Nowadays many devices can simply use power from the US or Europe or other countries without the need to convert the power. This plug is lightweight and does not add to the bulk of packing for a trip overseas.3. The product is well built and will not fall apart. Some adapters I have found for less money are really poorly constructed and break when taking them out of the socket. This one is sturdy and feels like it will hold up for constant use.

Nice adapter for European travel
This device is very handy for travel in Europe. It's light, works well and the fact it has 2 places to plug in US devices is a big plus. I purchased one of these about 7 years ago for my Wife and after dozens of trips, if finally wore out so getting a replacement was a no brainer ... highly recommended!

Simple with a little Extra
What more can one ask? This adapter is simple, cheap, small, light-weight, sturdy, and with places to plug in two devices. It's pretty-much perfect. My wife and I bought two of these for our trip to the Netherlands and Germany. We needed to be able to charge two cell-phones, a camera battery and a tablet. With two of these, we could simultaneously charge four devices at once, which was always more than enough capacity for us. And it the one hotel room that had only one available outlet, we could still manage to charge two devices. Even better, they're so small I was able to just stick them in an empty corner in my suitcase. I doubt we'll ever need to order another of these devices, as these seem sturdy enough to last many years. Just remember to check your devices before you leave to make sure they will work with 240V AC input. If they won't, you'll also need a device to modify the voltage. But this is fairly rare. All the devices we had with us supported both 120V (American) and 240V (European) input.
