Excellent filter, don't expect HP gains though
Excellent so far.First off, I've only had this for a couple days at the writing of this review so I can't comment on longevity.Build Quality: Excellent, high quality construction with consistent weave. I can't see through the filter at any point. I've purchased many K&N and other oiled filters and this is just as well made as those all have been.Installation: Easy! All you need is a screw driver to unscrew the lid of the charger's airbox (3 screws) pop the old filter out pop the new one in. This actually seemed to have a better fit than the stock paper filter for the Charger RT.It would be better to detach the entire air box from the throttle body using a socket but you can absolutely install this just by opening the lid of the box. It has three screws in the front and 3 tabs in back. The tabs in back act as hinges so just pull up on the front then you can slide the back tabs out if you need to.Performance: AEM doesn't really make any claims of horsepower gains with this filter. Most people I've talked to say this actually hinders performance a little. The filtering area seems a tad bit smaller compared to the stock filter (perfect fit just a little more rubber padding) which could reduce airflow, also this is a non-oiled dry flow filter. Aside from maybe some paper filters this is your best bet at actually filtering. The oiled filters allow greater airflow but they let in a whole bunch of debris as well, if you're a novice you also risk over-oiling them and pulling that oil into your engine. I bought this filter so I wouldn't have to keep buying paper ones, performance increasing was not a motivation, on our 5.7L chargers you would hardly notice a difference in performance anyways - I had a Short-Ram intake for this with a HUGE oiled filter and yea it sounded great but the performance was maybe 5-10hp gained, and unnoticeable on a car that has 370+hp.Appearance: This thing looks great. The paper filter isn't menacing at all, granted nobody sees this on a normal occasion but if you really want people to know, this filter did include an AEM sticker. As an added bonus to how cool this thing looks, when you turn off your car it makes a short hiss like it would with a cold-air/short-ram intake. I have a cat-back exhaust system as well so it's possible that affects the noise of the intake.I was pleased to see this for $38 on Amazon, it's not a bad deal at all, and I'm entirely happy.

Easy to install, seems a little louder.
I had a K&N drop-in filter on my last car, but I found that the oiling and cleaning necessary was a royal pain. So, I thought I had given up on "performance" drop-ins. Then I heard about AEM's DryFlow technology, and thought I'd give it a try.So far, so good. I can't say that I'm seeing noticeable change in horsepower or gas mileage, but I do notice more of a growl under the hood under acceleration in my 2013 Charger. All things being equal, having a filter that's easy to maintain and doesn't need to be replaced for 100,000 miles at this price is pretty decent, in spite of questionable performance claims.

Does its Job
I have used it on my Dodge Challenger and got a quicker throttle response and a bit deeper exhaust note. Dodge made the Challenger and Charger's air box and stock paper filter pretty efficient and with a good filter capacity. I do not expect this to filter better than stock or any significant HP gains. Since this was close in price to the throw away paper filters for the Challenger, I figured "what the heck".

If u like the 3
Got this filter for my 2015 charger 3.6l. After a week of use from stock filter, i have noticed improved engine response and power. I dont know if improves mileage, only because i lead foot it all the time, lol. If u like the 3.6 and want a cheap mod that works, this is for you.

Ultimately I will not be using the filter since I got it for better flow and the "dyno proven" results listed on the ...
Got this to install in my Challenger SRT 6.4 but before I installed it, I tested it for airflow versus the stock filter. This filter is highly restrictive! It doesn't flow nearly as much air as the stock paper filter. I ran several tests on it, putting it in a spare air box and running air through it and a second test just blowing air through the filter with an air blower. All my tests showed that this filter is very restrictive. Ultimately I will not be using the filter since I got it for better flow and the "dyno proven" results listed on the box since it ends up flowing less air than the paper stock filter. In addition, the filter came with red spots all over the top side (on the light colored media). It looked like some sort of overspray from a machine had left waxy red spots on the side that wasn't supposed to be red. Maybe that's normal but I could find nothing in an internet search about red spots or that being normal on this filter. The filter didn't look damaged: the red spots just looked out of place.

High quality
I bought this air filter to go with the hellcat bottom airbox I purchased. It fits perfectly and you can notice a significant difference in how the car drives, it seems to shift better than it did before with the auto 8 speed transmission. As for better gas mileage, I haven't had it long enough to see much difference. It does feel like it has more power though. over all I'm happy with this purchase and even if I don't get better mileage, I'm happy with the way the car drives now. It use to have a bit of a hesitation when you give it some beans, but that seems to be gone now. The filter itself is a high quality filter. way better than the stock filters that the dealership put in.
