Xpand Round Lacing. Elastic No Tie Shoelaces - Quick Release Tension Control - One Size Fits All Adult and Kids Shoes

Headline sums it up. I've tried 4 or 5 no-tie shoelace systems. Most of them worked at least passably, but to me this one stands out. It's the only one I've bought more than once, and I've bought it several times and wear shoes with them every day. Easy to install, easy to adjust, and seem to not ever slip, even after years of being in the shoe. I'm sure they'll wear out eventually, but so far it seems not before the shoe does. It would be nice, since it's not something you'll do every day, if they'd put a readable image on the package itself of how to orient the locking anchors and thread the laces through those and the end clips. It's all on the web site, and you can puzzle it out pretty quickly too, but it would be convenient.

They work great I don't like the way the little knob at the end looks I'll probably have to glue the shoelaces into it so they don't show or something I don't know but it looks really awesome I wish I would have gotten the green ones instead of the gray onesGo ahead and get some colorful ones The gray ones are boring spice it up.

I use these laces on several shoes. They are very convenient.

I bought a new pair of Merrels that I loved the look of, but they did not have the stretchy, no-tie laces that my old pair had. I really wanted stretchy, no-tie laces that matched the rainbow colors in the shoes. I searched high and low and I am so happy to have found these. We'll see how they hold up to some wear and tear, but they definitely look great! Instructions on the packaging could be a bit more clear. I recommend watching the video in the product description here on Amazon to figure out how to install them.

These were kind of tough to work with. The lace ends were too large to fit thru parts of my Adidas. So I had to cut off the plastic tips so they would fit thru some of the shoe eyelets and that was a mess. The instructions were extremely basic, yet not very clear. A video might have been helpful. The fastener design & mechanics were basic as well. I'm giving these an average score because I have owned better barrel-slider type solutions.

These work perfectly! However, always err on the side of leaving the laces too long. I made the mistake of cutting them too short the first go around, as I’ve had problems with lesser brands allowing my heels to slip out. When lacing initially, (before I cut them to size) I’ve learned the laces should appear slightly loose while my foot is OUT. I leave an extra 3” at the top and use the lace lock but I DON’T put the cap on the cut end yet. I try them on & walk around to ensure my foot & heel don’t slip. If they do slip, I tighten the laces VERY SLIGHTLY, a little goes a long way, then put them back on for another test walk. If they feel at all tight through this process, or are pulling a shoe together tightly without my foot inside, I know they’ll be too tight when I wear them all day. I pop on the end cap, without trimming the extra, until I’ve worn them a couple times & know for sure how long they should be. Hope this helps!

I bought these for my boots. It's winter time, so I can't wear my slip-on shoes anymore. A few things: Don't expect to use these all the way laced to the top for boots. You can, but it's difficult to get into you may as well use normal laces. I found lacing these up to the neck is about as far as you'll want to go. You can slip in and out of your boots and they'll stay on your feet fine. If people haven't worn laceless shoes before, most are incredibly comfortable and feel a little bit loose at the same time. These laces in boots feel the same way. I would also suggest you don't immediately cut them to length. Tuck the excess in and wear them for a few days trying out different configurations. I prefer up to the neck of the boot, and I've had them like this for a month or two now and it's fantastic. SO COMFORTABLE.

The pull tab included with these is completely different from what's shown on the packaging and on Xpand's website, and it literally does nothing. It's impossible to actually close the tab with the laces in it, and the tab itself doesn't even locked closed at all. It literally doesn't do anything.
