COLD-EEZE Cold Remedy Lozenges All Natural Cherry, 18 Count

I've been using these Cold-Eeze lozenges for years the minute I start to feel a cold coming on and they are effective. What makes them effective is the levels of zinc to help shorten your cold. It doesn't stop the cold from running its course, but it certainly lessens the length of the cold. Per the directions, you should take at least 6 a day as soon as you start to feel sick. The average cold used to last me about a week and a half to two weeks, but since I've used these, it only lasts a few days.The flavor is not bad compared to other lozenges so I don't mind taking them.

I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Works every time. I have avoided getting a full blown cold wit this many times. I know because a few times people who started coming down with a cold got theirs for days VS a few hours for me after taking this.Hint: If it starts tasting a bit bitter you have had enough. For me this tastes nice only till my body needs the added zinc from it.If your throat is hurting, take this and gargle with 'natural' (amber color) Listerine... you will fight a throat bacterial infection that way.I also take colloidal silver drops and one tablespoon of ginger+lemon juice (grate/blend fresh ginger root - press and get the juice. Squeeze fresh lemon add some sea salt. Add some honey if needed) and this combination always works fight a viral or bacterial infection and cold.I have a weak immune system and am not supposed to take antibiotics and anti-virals. This combination 15 - 20 mins apart truly truly helps.

I am adding to my previous review. I was just coming down with a cold several days ago. I was able to get to the Cold-Eese promptly. It worked again. Grace or what? But I am grateful. The timing seems to be important. That is why I have Cold-Eeze at work and at home. I carry it with me when I travel as well. All those cold viruses out there.Cold-Eeze works for me. If I am starting to get an upper respiratory virus, I will use it. If I have some on hand at the first few hours, I am convinced that it prevents a full blown cold. My wife now uses it too. But before she did, she would get the cold and I would not.

I am completely pro-science and pro-modern medicine and generally shy away from anything natural or holistic, because I know many "home remedies" are nothing more than a placebo. However, this is a product I wanted to hate but have found myself being incredibly grateful for. There's no real treatment for a common cold except to wait it out, and boy is that miserable. A friend told me about zinc lozenges, particularly this brand, so I picked some up. I suck on one or two at the first sign of a cold, usually a scratchy throat or a stuffy nose. I will say that it has warded off I don't know how many colds, but I haven't gotten a full blown cold a single time since starting these. My symptoms usually subside with the zinc! I couldn't believe it. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is I really don't care for the taste. I'm pregnant so I realize my taste buds might just be off right now, but I wish there was a stronger pleasant flavor like cherry or something. It would make them much more tolerable. I don't enjoy these much at all but they seem to work so I suck it up and take them!

This is definitely my favorite brand. I read about this brand in a medical cross blind study where this product and other Cold-Eeze homeopathic products were as good if not better than OTC cold preps. The purpose of the study was not specifically to evaluate brands but to evaluate versions of zinc that are most effective. The study was also surprised in their findings that Cold Eeze was so good at the job. What is especially good about these lozenges is that i get almost immediate relief of sinus symptoms. It uses the most active form of zinc which is why it is a superior product. The great relief of sinus symptoms last for several hours.

I have used these lozenges for close to a decade and nothing compares to how quickly they soothe your throat and they will stop an upper respiratory infection in its tracks!!! That being said the flavor is odd BUT the results are tremendous... I have found that by letting them slowly dissolve in your mouth coats your throat the best.. try them you will NOT be disappointed!!!😁 P.S. I suffer from asthma so EVERY GOOD BREATH IS A BLESSING!

These are cheaper than Zicam melts and they work just as well. The only downside is that it takes them longer to dissolve than Zicam melts. Still, with these being cheaper and just as effective, I will continue to purchase these. Both products leave that slightly metallic taste in your mouth, which isn't pleasant and which makes anything that you eat or drink soon afterward taste "off." But homeopathic zinc has kept me from getting many a cold, even when everyone else in the house was sick, so I know from experience that the stuff works.

Cold-Eee works for us. We've used it for many years. Our pharmacist says it doesn't work, and they stopped carrying it. I'm so glad we could by it from Amazon because we couldn't find it anywhere local anymore. It shortens the duration of our colds.

Excellent product, first heard of them from a friend who lives in America, only wish we could get them in this country

These work great! They taste good at first, and then kind of strong later but they have helped me get rid of stubborn colds twice recently.
