Works as advertised

Easy enough install for my 13 yo son. I ran the wires out of the bottom of the tailgate through a hole in the truck directly across from the tailgate hole and then ran it down the frame. Then up into the cab via the parking brake rubber plug then over to the radio. Camera works great! I powered it off of the backup/reverse power wiring. No complaints here!

Easy to install, nice addition . This went into a 3rd gen ram . For the price the quality is amazing . Direct bolt on figment. Camera pops up when in reverse. And the night quality is top tier.

Got everything hooked up by the instructions and the camera will not come on

Excellent view. Lines don't steer, but good reference. Fits great and looks great. Installer said best backup camera ever installed. Just shows ball at bottom of screen so clear view many feet back.

Good fit and the handle functions just like the factory one. Will it last as long i cannot say. It was easy enough to install on my 3rd gen Ram 3500 and running the wiring was definitely the hardest part but still only took about an hour. The quality is okay but could definitely be better. I haven't tested it much at night but I'll update this review when I do. For the price its a good replacement handle that adds a camera in a convenient location that allows a nice field of view. It should provide enough image quality to safely back into or out of a parking space.

Works great, easy install. Now my tailgate locks and I have a rear camera.

Its a nice product, good quality. Camera looks good during the day. Night is atrocious. Camera is in a .5 view. Hard to get use to it but it works as intended, just not at night. It wasnt pitch black outside, I should be able to see around in the camera. As I kept backing up, the black boarders kept getting bigger and bigger. Definitely interesting. Not sure why it is

Camera is certainly not HD but its fine for what its needed for. The handle isn't as good quality as the OEM though and the peg which opens the latches slides a bit on the metal of the latch and looks like it may break in time, will have to wait and see

I read the reviews about the quality of the handle. I am fussy when it comes to my truck and I must say that the install on my 2005 Ram 3500 was straight forward. I was lucky enough to have an input to my Sony double din head stereo unit. It works great when i put shifter into reverse. The camera visual display was surprisingly great. The durability and strength of the handle are as good or better than the OEM handle. No problems yet. I will update if there are any.

Love the sleek look of this camera on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. I tapped into the red (12v+) and black (ground) wiring going to the trailer plug. I ran the wiring along the same path as the rest of the truck's wiring. Behind the front-left wheel well I was able to bunch up the excess wiring (~6-8ft) and poke the RCA end through the firewall with the rest of the wiring. I then added a 4ft RCA extension behind the dash so that the camera can easily be disconnected during dash removal. I did this while I had the dash out for blend door replacement which was convenient. I did not have to connect the red wire at the RCA end to anything with my radio because it already knows when I'm in reverse gear. You can turn the guidelines off by removing the black jumper on the green wires. All in all, I'm satisfied. Hopefully this handle is sturdy because I read a number of reviews on other cameras like this where the handle broke. I will update over time if this becomes an issue.

Did not work properly Tailgate in down position looks a little blurry But in up position was vary blurry with half the screen wavy

Very simple install, camera quality is great and handle works as the oem did.
