Soft box was hard to put together. You can not use other iteams without taking apart soft box. Soft box fall off eaisly. Lots of things to try out. Beauty dish, snoot and barn door are pretty good.The cons - seems a little flimsy. I can't see where anyone other than an enthusiast would use this. The clips that hold the light modifiers in place on your flash are flimsy, though the vendor does include an extra set in case one breaks. Also, the softbox diffuser is all but unusable - none of the diffusers are held in place in any way.Most likely I'm sending this back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great lighting tools for a reasonable price. *by A***J on October 12, 2011* I've been building my photography buisness for some time and I had my eye on this kit for some time and finally decided to take the plunge.Some of the pieces are better then the others the barn door semes to be a little lose but everything else is pretty decent.I've read reviews on other sites about the beauty dish creating hot spots didn't really see it but I need to play with it more.The biggest advantage to this kit is combined with a trigger for your hot shoe flash it does some really great work to play with the different configurations of light for a good price.So far I've used the beauty dish the mini softbox with colored covers and it does some really astounding work for practical special effects. The snoot works well as well.A gripe there are no instructions that come with it and took rooting around on the web to find how to correctly setup the mini softbox.
