Educational Insights Playfoam Party Pack

I was browsing around for a cute goodie bag stuffer for Easter baskets at our family gathering, and I looked at the reviews. There were some split opinions but I just decided to buy it and take a chance--it exceeded my expectations! :) My three children are really into putty, slime, and little fidgets like that, so I thought it would be perfect! Their cousins also love squishy, squashy items. In fact, they always beg for Playfoam and Silly Putty! I'm happy to grant their wish and I think they will love it a lot! I needed something relatively cheaper but still a nice quality, because we need to give 17 (I counted) of these Playfoam packages out to my nieces, nephews, and children. I thought these were reasonably priced and had cute packaging, and I would have 3 left for my own enjoyment. I opened one of them. It was squishy and easy to shape, almost like Silly Putty (It held its shape though). When it stretched, it felt like slime with foam pellets in it. I found that the beads shrink A LOT! So when you first open it, it does seem like a big batch, but it will become smaller and smaller the more you play with it. Make sure not to get it dirty. It isn't a completely mess-free toy, but easier to clean up. The colors are totally random, but you are guaranteed at least one of each color, which is great! Some of the colors have sparkles even! I am so excited to see if the children like it! :) Edit: The children absolutely LOVED it by all means! Even my oldest niece, who is twelve, really liked it!

We bought this pack to put into my daughters pre school class trick or treat bags, but they were to big to fit.. :( We ended up keeping them and were glad it turned out that way since this play foam is awesome! :) It has no scent, it's not gooey, it doesn't mar or stick to anything-but itself, it's kind of magical! The pack comes with 5 different pastel colors; yellow, green, orange, purple & pink, all the colors have glitter in the foam-that doesn't come off on anything Yay! It's very cool and easy for my 4 year old to use as sculpture material. We have a blob of it sitting on a large cutting board on top of her play kitchen and whenever she wants to play with it we take it down, no need to wrap it up or keep it air tight, it's always "moist" - it's not really moist, but I don't know how else to describe it because it doesn't dry out. We love the stuff and have been playing with it on and off for weeks.

i have three children, the oldest is 4 the youngest 9 months. my older two love playing with this. its alot of fun and for a play dough type thing (though nothing like play dough) it is very clean. it does get dirty though and the colors do end up mixed. i like it for a watched activity or you end up with play foam everywhere! it usually works out well for us. I however, walked away for a second during a session of play foam. My 9 month old (who is walking and getting into everything) managed to get some. I didnt worry about it, i only saw a few bits on her face and assumed it wasn't much. happily the stuff transfers very well through the body and goes into a diaper without issue. she ate alot more than i thought. no chocking, no complaint no grumble about it later. i dont need to be told what a horrible mother i am for letting my baby eat play foam. I just wanted to share that it didn't kill her. yey for non-toxic. also didn't seem to hurt her in any way. it does come out of everything ok. sometimes dirty, so i do end up throwing it away and getting out new ones. :=) it never seems to be enough the girls love it. and apparently so does the baby. *cough* defiantly a supervised toy.

My daughter's love playing with this stuff. We've purchased these in play sets, and this party set over the years. One of my daughter's is 8yrs old, and the other is a 13 yr old, too cool for toys tween, & she still loves this foam, and anything else slime, or putty like. It stays good for some time if kept concealed. We usually store it in a tupperware bowel or a baggie. You can also mix these altogether if you want, and can even mix them in your homemade slime for added fun. My oldest loves to do this, and experiment with the mixtures. I almost like the homemade slime better when mixed with this foam. I would recommend for any kiddo, big and small. As long as they're old enough not to put it in their mouths. This is a winner either way, and a great option as a gift for a school class, a birthday party, family gatherings, a sleepover, or just to have these presealed options to open when you please or to keep sealed for future use. This box of sealed sets has been our favorite. You can make them last much longer if you want. You really can't go wrong with this.

I'm a pediatric occupational therapist so I ordered these as end of the year gifts for my clients (ages 3-5). They were a hit with all the kids! I loved that they were individually packaged and came in a variety of colors. I didn't realize that some of the colors had sparkles but it was a nice surprise. The floam/playfoam is great for sensory play. I only opened a few packages but they were all good quality and didn't stick to your hands. Deducted one star because the box was pretty damaged when it was delivered but none of the individual packages were damaged.

A huge hit for my 4 year old daughter's birthday party! The kids absolutely loved them and played with most of the actual party. Very easy to use and store leftovers.

My kids LOVE playing with this stuff. Much easier to clean up than sand options. It does leave some residue on plastic, so keep that in mind when storing, but it scrubs off with a wet wipe. Keep it away from stuffed animals and fabric, unless you want to be picking it out piece by piece. And over time it will get full of hair or dirt and need to be replaced. I’ve had a batch lose it’s “stick” and start to lose the tiny styrofoam balls all over the place, so again I just tossed and replaced. For the price it’s a great activity to have around for the kids.

Yes these are a kids toy, but we actually use them for adult all day conferences! So many people are restless in all day meetings, so this is a terrific solution to quietly address people being restless. They don't make a mess, don't make a noise and individually packaged to take home!
