Ateco Cast Iron and Non-Slip Pad Cake Stand, 12 inch, White

I LOVE it! The Ateco 612 is a basic, heavy metal revolving cake stand without ball bearings. It works perfectly! It has a good, heavy weight so it remains stationary. The spin is smooth and easy. It will require simple maintence (greasing the pivot) through out the years but is well worth the savings over the 613 modle. I am not a professional baker, but I bake a LOT...especially cakes for friends, family and special occasions. This piece will make my decorating a lot easier. If you are looking for a durable, heavy, revolving cake stand without having to spend a bunch of money...this is the one you are looking for. It will last a lifetime. Very good quality and is a piece I would hand down to my daughter someday.I seriously considered the Ateco 613 because of the positive and abundant reviews but was a little put off by the price. I didn't find much in the way of reviews for the Ateco 612. The 612 is seriously awesome, really. Much, much better than the little plastic stands.

I love this turn table. It is very stable and turns very smoothly. So helpful in frosting cakes!

This piece has some weight to it, but it is really easy to put together and also take apart for cleaning. It’s not only very functional it could also be left out on the counter decoratively.

So glad I took the time in shopping for true quality built product that helps the cake get iced with ease in a timely manner. This turn table will last for decades to come

I got to use an Ateco cake spinning stand in a cooking class years ago. It was a game-changer! The heavy base makes it so sturdy, and it turns to easily to crumb coat, add details, or cake combing. Mine was lost in the move, and I have really missed it. If you make several cakes a year, I think that it is really worth every penny to have one!

I love Ateco’s revolving cake decorating wheel. It makes icing a cake so much easier. I’m not a professional cake decorator but I like baking and usually volunteer to bring desserts or birthday cakes to functions. The cast iron white stand makes it very sturdy and the wheel turns easily and effortlessly. I store it in the box it arrived in.

I purchased this for my wife who’s recently taking up baking as a hobby. She had most of the necessary tools for making fancy cakes but this was missing from the tool set. This is a nice heavy turntable that makes decorating cakes a lot easier, it spins pretty effortlessly. This construction on this unit is solid, the base is incredibly heavy and well built, designed to last. The turntable is a separate piece that lists of the base easily. Both pieces are easy to clean, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a standard classics cake decorating turntable.

I love my Ateco 612 Revolving Cake Stand. It is such a great quality stand that turns smoothly as I frost and decorate my cakes. The stand looks nice enough to use as a stand to display your finished cake if you do not own a decorative cake stand. My only problem with this cake stand is the base of the stand is not securely locked to the top (platter), so you must be careful not to accidentally lift the cake stand by holding the top part, otherwise the heavy iron base will fall on the floor or worse, fall on your foot. Always remember to hold the cake stand at the base when carrying the cake stand from one area to another. I wish the base and the top was attached securely for safety. Overall, I am pleased with the Ateco 612 Revolving Cake Stand aside from my aforementioned safety concern.
