Must have sunscreen for kids
I buy this for my children. We spend a couple of afternoons a week all summer long at the lake. In the fall, we're at the beach for about two weeks. So, I need their sun protection to be good! This kind of stick is pretty awesome - it goes on wet skin or dry skin. The kids prefer to put it on themselves. We use this one for faces, though my youngest child prefers this one to the other sticks I have and will smear it all over himself if I don't catch him fast enough and give him the body stick. I've found that by using the sticks they will apply it themselves or I can do it quickly and get better coverage and it lasts longer than using a spray. They always seem to burn when I use a spray! They both prefer to apply their own sunscreen and don't like lotions so the sticks work great. This kind is a little softer than most and will leave a little bit of a greasy feeling on your skin - that sand will stick too, be warned. I've used it on my face in a pinch and it provides good protection.I've also found that it's less expensive on Amazon than in Wal-Mart & Target and it's impossible to find in Mexico so I buy up a few of them. I've also found it's the sunscreen that goes missing the most often when with a group of friends! Hmmmm, for what that's worth! But also it's the most requested to borrow and try out from other moms. But I think the fact that you can put it on wet skin and it works is key!We use a lot of sunscreens, like a ridiculous amount, and this is in the must have category. I seriously don't go on vacation without it.

The best sunscreen I've ever had
This is the only sunscreen my child would allow me to use on his face. It is extremely soft, with very pleasant smell and light weighted. It is not visible at all. The price is of course a little higher compared to other stick sunscreens, but after trying sooo many others and not finding even one that would come close to this, I decided to stick with Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids. I used to buy it in Grocery stores before, but for some reason last year I wasn't able to find it anywhere, and when I saw it on Amazon, it was a relief. Hopefully it is not going to go out of stock. The Best!!!

Can't Go Wrong
My 3 kids all have very fair skin and this stick has been a life saver over the years. Especially in younger kids, we haven't had issues with bothering the eyes as other products have caused some problems. Nothing worse than having to leave the beach with kids that are screaming due to eye pain. Once the kids get older this product is easy for them to self-apply. Works like a charm!

Awesome sunscreen!!! Very small tube.
Great sun protection for my kids. They love this on their faces and don't complain about it stinging their faces like they do with normal liquid sunscreen. Here's some in-depth thoughts:Pros:- It goes on very easy. Just like a stick of deodorant, just twist the dial to extend the stick of sunscreen, wipe it on their faces, and away they go.- The sun protection is great. It is 70 SPF. I read once that anything over 50 SPF has no additional benefit. I don't really care. I'm using this 70 SPF and hoping that it helps protect better than 50.- My girls have sensitive skin and as of late, they were complaining that the liquid sunscreen was stinging their faces when we were putting it on. Also, they were coming out of the pool at the end of the day with rashes on their cheeks, ostensibly from the liquid sunscreen. I switched them to this to try to get rid of the rashes and by happenstance, it worked. No more rashes after hours in the pool and multiple reapplications.Cons:- The stick of sunscreen is small (see picture, and I don't have giant hands). Far smaller stick than I imagined. If you were using it on an entire kids body, it wouldn't last long at all. We just use it on our girls' faces and liquid sunscreen on the rest of their bodies. The picture on here is quite deceiving, as there's no size reference. I expected it to be approximately the same size as a stick of deodorant. They do list a weight, but equating that into size is difficult for the average person.Overall, this is exceptional sunscreen. I took off a star for the size of the tube, but as far as functionality, this stuff is awesome. I will continue to buy this for years.I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this product. Quick, easy, and mess-free application!
I’ve been using this daily on my two year old, as we’re outside for hours everyday in the summer, often in and out of water. The stick clearly works very well because she hasn’t had any sunburn and her face, ears, and neck. She also hasn’t gained much color this summer.I love that it’s so easy and quick to go on, which is necessary when you have an impatient toddler to work with. It doesn’t leave any gloppy, white residue that’s impossible to rub in, like some lotion sunscreens for kids. Rather, it goes on clear, and my hands stay clean because I just hold the stick and roll it on like deodorant. I’ve been rubbing the stick on her hair part as well, and it doesn’t show, nor does it leave her fine, blond hair greasy.I am pretty thorough about application, overlapping everything at least once. Since the sunscreen goes on clear, doing this helps me feel like I’m not missing any spots. I definitely feel like using the stick is more likely to help me cover all of my daughter’s skin safely than using a spray would be.
