I bought these to wear under my work shirt for sun protection on my arms so I don't have to constantly slather sunscreen on and get it everywhere. I'm in the Texas heat and sun every day and these shirts seemed like a good alternative to sunscreen (No, I'm not knocking sunscreen, I still put it on exposed parts). We have not hit the 90's yet and summers can get hotter than satan's ....., but I have worn them on fully sunny days and they kept me cooler. They have a good amount of stretch but aren't too stretchy and they are soft and comfortable. I'm 5'9", 145, athletic build, broad shoulders, and the large fits well, leaves room without being too fitted. I could probably wear a medium but I do not like my shirts too close fitting. The sleeves hit just below my wrists. They wash and dry easily though I usually hang them to dry. I appreciate that there is no weird logo up near the top like other brands I looked at, just a little reflective leaf at the bottom hem, cute. I bought two and ended up buying a third to keep from constantly doing laundry.

Updated review Jan 2024:I love these for gardening and for hiking year round. They keep me cool and comfortable, they don't cling when wet, they dry quickly, and I don't need to apply sunscreen to my arms. I use them so much, they're looking a bit sad and besides I wanted a few extra for an upcoming trip.So, I ordered them in the same size as before (XXL), but they were really baggy! Hmm, I thought, they really changed the fit. I reordered them in XL, and they fit very nicely - loose enough not to look snug or stretched at all (even over my bust), but shapely & attractive not baggy. I do wish the length was a little shorter, but otherwise very nice and I'm keeping them. Also, I see no difference between the fabric & fit of the ones labeled as an Upgrade fabric and the others. I ordered 02-upgrade Light Blue, A01-sage, and A01-charcoal Gray.Now that I proceed to leave a review, Amazon presents me with my original review in 2019 to alter....and apparently somehow I got my shirts mixed up (all those labels had worn off) and thought the Baleaf were the ones I kept. My spouse loves the mens version, but looking at my old review now, I realize I didn't keep the womens Baleaf for me back then.And I see that back then the sizing did run small & it was the XXL back then that fit me, pretty much the way the XL now fits me (and I still wear the same size & same shirts I ordered back then). So there's a good update for you - runs true to size, now. XL really is like a 16, presuming you don't expect a stretched-tight fit. Also, most of the others I tested & compared in 2019 are no longer listed, so I'm replacing my old review for this one.I hope this helps others figure out what to order.

This is a loose, lightweight shirt. It is long, coming almost to the top of my thighs. And I am 5'9"", 150 & bought a medium. After wearing it today on an 87° day, it was very comfortable. However it is an off brand & as someone dealing w skin cancer I may go w other name brands. Other than the price tag, there is nothing on the shirt that confirms this clothing has upf 50 protection.

I get skin cancers & have tattoos to protect from the sun so I appreciate this comfortable shirt. It is silky & drapes beautifully. I like the looser fit so if you like them tighter, you will need to size down. This shirt is cool to wear in the heat too. Very pleased with this shirt & will order more. Mrs. M

I first ordered this in the size recommended, small. It was too large. Returned it for x-small, a perfect fit. Will be ordering more in other colors. The quality of it is great it will be perfect for wearing all year round.

This shirt is perfect for my gardening needs. I ordered it a size larger however it runs true to size. It’s very comfortable and cool in the hot sun. I feel confident that the UV protection is adequate. I think everyone would be happy with this shirt . The price is good too.

Nice color, material is same/similar to other Baleaf items I own. HOWEVER, the fit is incredibly long, not just in the arms, but also torso. I'm 5'10 and bought my usual L and the shirt hangs down below my butt, like a sleep shirt or mini-dress. Maybe they made a mistake, but it's of no use to me.

Nice product, I got the red one and its light weight,stetchy and very comfortable to be outside in the FL. Sun. Breathes well and arms length is great. I purchased a small in a beautiful red color (5'1 ,120 lbs.)

Comfortable, lightweight, kept the temperature just right. I ordered a small (I typically wear small) and it was just right. It wasn’t skin tight, but it wasn’t hanging off me either. Happy with my purchase. I will say even though the colour says “red” it is not red. It is true to the colour in the picture which is a nice rosey pink.

E' risaputo che non c'è niente di più dannoso e pericoloso per la pelle delle radiazioni solari. Nella migliore delle ipotesi, ti fanno invecchiare la pelle più precocemente.Le creme non risolvono del tutto il problema perché dipende da quanto e come si usano e con il bagno se ne vanno via, per non parlare poi del loro costo proibitivo. Questa maglietta, leggerissima e traspirante invece il problema lo risolve.Oltretutto è carinissima abbinata e un costume in tinta. Io la uso con un pantaloncino nero e disegni tropicali e sta benissimo.Ci faccio il bagno, asciuga in un batter d'occhio e gioco a palla sulla spiaggia con la mia bambina.Non m'importa del decolté color cioccolato, oltretutto mi sembra una cafonata. Preferisco proteggere la mia pelle, mantenendola giovane e liscia a lungo.

Aufgrund der Bewertung einer anderen Rezensentin hier habe ich das T-Shirt eine Nummer größer bestellt. Sie hatte darauf hingewiesen, dass das Shirt sehr wenig Elastizität besitzt. Bin froh, dass ich das getan habe. Zum einen gibt es mehr Bewegungsfreiheit, wenn es nicht so eng sitzt, zum anderen finde ich, dass es etwas knapp ausfällt. Mit einer Nummer größer sitzt es jedoch recht gut und bequem.Ich bin 1,70 m groß und bei mir reicht das Shirt über die Hüften, ist also wesentlich länger als bei dem Model in der Abbildung. Mich stört das nicht so, aber wollte darauf hinweisen.Das Material ist sehr angenehm auf der Haut, weich und ausgesprochen kühl. Bin zufrieden.
