The OrdinarySqualane Cleanser, Hydrating Makeup Remover, Supports Moisture Barrier

Okay, I bought this on a whim. I have pretty severe sebaceous hyperplasia. I have had chemical peels. I’ve had them burned off, frozen, I’ve used topical retin A from my dermatologist. It always rages back. I saw a review say this stuff shrinks them and makes them much less visible. I was put off by the price, but let’s face it, I’ve dropped a lot more than this.My first wash, I did not use anything to remove my make up. I wanted to see if this got rid of it by what was left when I used my toner. Initially, I thought this stuff would be greasy. IT IS NOT! It COMPLETELY MELTED MY MAKE UP AWAY! I have used it daily for about two weeks. It is unlike anything I have ever used. It leaves my face clean, but not dry. It isn’t oily either, like some make up removers that then require soap and water. I have purchased most of the face cleaners in Ulta. I have never, in my oily 57 years, used anything like this. The price point is amazing considering what it does. It even removed my waterproof mascara???? I don’t know what is in this, and frankly I do not care. It’s hot where I live, and my SH is not growing. My skin feels clean. It’s not dry. It’s not greasy. I write reviews only occasionally, but I want others who have struggled with oily skin issues for years to know there’s something out there for us. I can’t speak to dry skin, but it feels extremely gentle. Am I rid of my excess oil completely? No, but I have other solutions in my toolbox for that. I will do without other things to buy this again and again. I love other products from The Ordinary, but THIS one is the Holy Grail. I still have bumps from SH. However, they are almost flat, and much less noticeable. For my fellow sufferers out there, this helped me. They’re no longer the first thing I see when I look in the mirror. I don’t feel like people see them and wonder what the heck is on my face. Many thanks to The Ordinary for a decently priced, effective product that does what it says.

It's a great cleanser and honestly wish i got a bigger thing of it. I use about a nickle sized amount and rubbed it in for about 1.5 minutes then wet my hands and got it a bit more slippery before washing it off. And Oh. My. Gosh. It made my skin SO smooth and soft, i have fairly oily skin, especially around my t-zone and it helped so so much!! Left zero residue or irritation. I didn't even end up doing a double cleanse like i intended, i was also cleaning all day the night before and felt so gross. There's zero scent, came sealed, and works amazingly! I've always been against oil based cleanser but this is amazing

Love this cleanser. Easy to apply. Leaves skin soft and doesn’t dry the skin. I love all of Ordinary products because they work and are very affordable. But this product is fantastic. A few drops in your hand. Rub your hands together and it becomes like an oil. Apply to your face and neck it will remove makeup or just morning and night cleansing. A little goes a long way.

Meh, it’s not my favorite. It smells…odd. It doesn’t have a strong smell, but the smell is odd. It works fine. You get a small amount, though. After using this, I got the TirTir cleansing balm and I love that so much more!
