Rock Tawa 9 Inch Kadhai (Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron) Black

A very good cast-iron kadai. It has found its place in the kitchen instead of getting lost in some shelf. And that's all I can say. Its become a regular in the kitchen for cooking a lot of things in a family of 5.To all who think it is heavy to clean, that it rusts when left undried after a wash, or that food sticks when the seasoning wears off etc., I would like to say these are common issues with all cast-iron cook ware and most common to first time users. So a little patience is definitely called for before we turn to appreciate cast-iron.

Nice ....Sufficient size for 3-4 members but bit heavy and after one wash he thoda colour bhi chala gaya jabki yeah tho iron ka hai so little disappointed rest all ok

The media could not be loaded. Since over a year I have been using a bigger version of the same, Now I ordered for this smaller size and it proved to be a great choice again. It nicely pre seasoned and feels Raw and Robust during handling! The Best thing I loved about this is, at the bottom the ‘flat’ logo area provides a good stability and prevents the Kadhai to wobble on a flat surface.. Good Design Solution! Dear House Chefs.. GO FOR THIS! 😇

Nowadays cast iron cookware are trending the most...Main reason being they r almost non stick like the non stick cookware ,which are very harmful for our health...So the Rock Tawa kadai has served to its name...its very solid and sturdy....very heavy which tells us how thick the metal is.....The pre- seasoning was almost good but as everyone says...i washed it prior to use and seasoned it using the regular method.....and the first cooking in it experience was awesome....The brand is budget friendly also....Cleaning cast iron cookware is do easy...Only care is to handle it carefully and cool it before u wash ...Its a must buy product from Rock Tawa..

After much thought ordered this one. It’s of perfect size for family of 3-4. Round bottom with nice depth. Good thickness. And arrived perfectly. Looks like already seasoned well.But what nobody tells u is tat it’s damn heavy!around 3 kgs. As a cast iron pan should be!If ur used to cooking in regular nonstick cookware.. this heavy vessel is going to scare you. U cannot lift it in one hand. Have to handle it carefully. Even while washing. Not easy to maintain either.If all of the above is not a problem for u. Go for it! It’s perfect!Update: after using for two months: works jus like ur non stick pan.. great for ur stir fry’s as well as deep fry’s. after daily usage care like reheating and rubbing with oil. But,,,, consumes LPG gas like anything.. (wonder if anybody told this) as it’s too thick takes times to heat up (and the additional reheating after washing)as I’ve been using it up on a daily basis finished my gas cylinder by a month earlier..!So if all of this is doesn’t bother you go for it!My suggestion would be to go for a lil thinner one as in other Brand’s..

Heavy but great for health.
