Vivaplex24, White, 2 oz Cosmetic Jars, with Liners and Dome Lids

Great jars ! Never have a problem. Using them for my diy pain balm.

Needing small cosmetic jars, I gambled on the 24 New, High Quality, White, 2 oz Cosmetic Jars, with Liners and Dome Lids for two reasons. Firstly, these include the liner which most containers do not and secondly, they are reasonably priced. I did not know if they were double walled or how easy they were to screw and unscrew.These are packaged perfectly in a box with light plastic sheets separating each layer. Some of these bright white containers had lids that were screwed on so tightly that I was worried about breaking them while removing the lids. To my surprise, the threading is thin and extensive, so removing the lid takes several turns. Another surprise was that the gauge of the plastic is very thin, so thin that I was shocked to see my finger through it when held up to a distant light. There is no liner inside the lid and it's the same gauge as the tub. The edges are more sharp than smooth and I hope that does not become a problem as people remove the body butters from my tubs. The liners are thicker than I had expected and are very easy to lift and replace. Most I've seen have been thin and flimsy, but that's not the case with these. They are a perfect fit, securely snapping onto and into the tubs. With the butters in the containers lubricating the threads, screwing and unscrewing the lid is smoother. The lid fits as well without the liners, so if you don't need them, it's no problem. I personally find that this gives a better seal so I use them.For single walled cosmetic containers, I think these are terrific. They hold up to labeling well and I intend to order them in the 4 ounce size. The weight of the tub without product, liner or lid weighs around 9 grams. It does hold 2 fluid ounces of water, less of my product which is a whipped solid.

These came packaged securily. They were exactly as described. The plastic is light and thin but it does not feel fragile and easily breakable.They are white in color exactly as pictured.One of the things I liked about these containers is that they had a double cover. The first one was the little screw on lid. The second cover was a little plastic cover with a little tab on the top that made it easy to pry off.If you are making lotion they might be too small but they are great for resin. They are also perfect for carrying small things.

These are pretty good cosmetic containers. The tabbed lid insert doesn't really fit snuggly and has to be pressed to stay in place. Other than that they serve their purpose. I use them for lotions, deodorants, etc and have had no issues with the jars at all. They aren't the highest quality containers but they are a good quality and value for the price. I would purchase them again.

These are great little jars. Just the right size for homemade salves, balms, sugar scrubs, lotions etc. I can foresee using them to carry lotion or other makeup when I travel, as well as the homemade creams I make for my dry skin. They arrived in a nice box with liners between the layers, lids that screw on and off easily, nice pure white color, and they seem to be very durable plastic. [time will tell] I feel that I have enough to last a lifetime. Quality items, highly recommend.

It frustrates me that people rate these poorly due to size. They are small but they are single wall jars. They hold 2.2 oz of my moisturizer without the fill hitting disc. It may not hold 2oz of your product depending on what you fill it with. You have to weigh your own product and not depend on the manufacturer! If one person fills the jar with rocks and another fills the same jar with marshmallows, the rocks will obviously weigh more! The jar IS capable of holding 2oz.
