Update 6 months after purchase: The standing desk portion still works great. No issues with the hardware. I have found the paint on the desk chips very easily. The top part of the moving desk has a lot of speckles of missing paint. At some point I will touch it up with sharpie or a paint marker but it doesn't seem worth it yet.Great value because it is on sale/clearance. Very nice quality desk. I love the adjustable sit/stand desk. It is very heavy so put it together where you want it to live. Relatively easy to put together once you figure out how to read the instructions. Make sure you separate the drawer rails early on. The rails and hinges for the adjustable desk are greasy. Leave the parts in the bag until you need them. Mine was missing one drilled hole for the adjustable arm piece. It had 4 but arm had 5. I just used a small nail screw and made my own. Also, put the back on the cabinet last. This gives you access to rails in case you need to adjust. It is also a cat hair magnet so make sure you have a swiffer lol. It took several hours to put together. have someone else around who can help. Most of it is easy with 1 but some steps really need 2 for holding. It is probably worth the Amazon build fee to have someone else do it lol.

Great instructions, fairly easy to put together. It comes in two different packages that were delivered days apart, would have been nice to know that. The surface of the desk is very delicate. Scratches very easily, super sensitive to any moisture. I suggest applying a protective coating right away if you get this desk.

My biggest surprise with this desk was the ease at which I was able to assemble it. I was thinking I had bit off more than I could chew but with a little time, the desk came together with no fuss! The desk is simply beautiful & the sit-to-stand option is perfect. Sometimes I need to stand after sitting for awhile & as long as you grab the front & back of the lift area, it comes up & locks in place without much effort. To return it to the sitting position, I simply lift it up a bit beyond the standing position & the lift area lowers back smoothly. The quality of the entire desk is top notch but be careful with the finish. I would not recommend putting anything hot or cold on it as the finish is not super-durable. Other than that, I have to give this desk 5 stars as it is great in its functionality, appearance, ease of assembly & quality. I have owned MANY "assemble your own" pieces of furniture & this one impressed me! Definitely worth it!

This is a large desk but I like it. Be careful with the surface. You can easily scratch the top. If you move the desktop to the second or third position, keep in mind you will have to lift it to full standing position in order to lower it back down. Watch your cords so they don't get stuck or damaged when you lower the desk.

Really like this desk! It’s fantastic except for the space between the left side desk and the height adjusted desk. Would be nice if they can design it so that it is seamless and no gaps are visible. Hence one star below perfect!Instructions are easy to follow. It’s well packaged with lots of styrofoam to ensure nothing chips, breaks, or scratches.The delivery team is also great - delivering it directly into the room you wish.Solid design and beautiful filing cabinet. For the price, you really can’t beat this deal.

After weeks and weeks of shipping issues, I finally received the product and assembled it. It looks beautiful as long as you don't use it. The finish is paper thin, and is actual paper, so it does not last at all, not even with light use. I was working on a project and lightly stuck a piece of tape on the edge of the desk while doing something, when I pulled the tape off, it store the paper finish off with it. No where near the quality for the price paid. It has also developed scratches from my mouse, pens and just basic usage over the few months I have owned this.

The desk is fine. However, like others have noted, the pint chips really easy. In fact, I put a strip of tape along the edge I use most to protect it, but when I took the tape off it ripped the laminate. I just bought this, so it’s unfortunate to know that it’s only going to get worse from here. I bought the desk and two side tables for almost a thousand dollars totals I probably wouldn’t do that again, even though it’s otherwise a good desk.

This full L desk comes at a price range where competitors offer motorized or actuated standup desks but in a significant smaller size. The built is perfect and the packaging honestly surprised me in a good way. Better than expected and perfect addition to my office.No missing pieces.No misaligned holes.Perfect packaging and well protected.Straightforward instructions and excellent assembly markings.Ikea like materials and quality.Bang for the buck.
