Ceylon Cinnamon is the "real" cinnamon and contains compounds that have proven health benefits for diabetics and others. Common Cinnamon is a different, more common variety and is usually what you find in the supermarket. It has much lower concentrations of the beneficial compounds and a high level of others that can be problematic. Cinnamon is an essential ingredient in my 6-cup-a-day coffee addiction. I decided to switch to the Ceylon variety after extensive research into its medical benefits. Outside of the medical, here are the differences: 1. It has a different taste. Not as strong and a bit dry. Less flavorful. 2. It has a much finer grind than the common cinnamon I am used to and is dustier. 3. It is harder to find and more expensive. It is reasonable in bulk. 4. I am getting used to it, and I believe that it is very beneficial to switch if you are a regular user.

This is hands-down the best cinnamon I’ve ever used! The purity of the Ceylon is immediately evident; it lacks that harsh, spicy bite of common cassia and instead offers a sophisticated, delicate sweetness. Both the taste and smell are incredible, adding a warm, aromatic depth to my morning coffee and oatmeal. It's rare to find a product that feels this high-quality and authentic.

Not as strong as flavor as I expected

I am not sure about this one, previously I used to have a Saigon cinnamon but after I learned that it’s not as good as the Ceylon cinnamon I started ordering the Ceylon cinnamon. I had tried different brands and must say the Ceylon cinnamon I had before was lighter color, a soft fruity aroma and a smooth taste. This one however, reminds me of the Saigon cinnamon, much darker color, more pungent or aggressive aroma and more scratchy on the throat! So I don’t know! 🤷🏼‍♂️I am not saying I don’t like it, I am just comparing and describing my experience… go figure!

Its is a wonderful cinnamon which has a lighter flavor. Well priced and nicely packaged. I can use it daily. It was suggested to use Ceylon cinnamon if using on a daily basis and thats what promoted me to order.

Best cinnamon quality and inexpensive. I poured it in my last empty jar. The bag was elegant and the content was what expected as an organic product.

Ceylon Cinnamon is good for you in so many ways. I have tried many different brands over the years, and this one always seems to be the best for the price. This particular brand always seems to look and taste fresh.
