I'm so glad that I purchased these over some other fair-good reviewed gloves. I use a Weber Smokey Mountain for smoking brisket, ribs, pork butt, chicken thighs - pretty much anything that tastes good smoked (what doesn't taste good smoked?) and if you've ever smoked a big hunk of meat, then you know that it's hard to get around having to move it somewhere after it's done. Men especially don't really associate any type of "gloves" with BBQ, but I can't tell you how many BBQ aficionados literally have no sensation in their fingertips from moving this stuff around. Enter these nice, versatile yet simple, "Triumphant Chef" mitts which I can almost guarantee are a generic product that are just branded differently by whoever has the money to put their label on it. All I know is that they work perfectly for the purpose of handling hot anything, with the exception of direct flames,molten metal, or lava - all of which I have no intention of using these for. Highlights of this product are that I can see them fitting nicely on a broad range of hand sizes; I have semi-large hands, yet these are not so big that they wouldn't fit nicely on more petite hands. They have a raised pattern on both sides (reversible!) which makes gripping a lot easier. Other gloves I shopped for were completely slick, and I could totally see a 15 lb greasy brisket slipping out of my hands on game day - which would be the worst possible 4th and 17 fumble scenario I could imagine. I could hardly feel any warmth from a Brisket I cooked just yesterday using these for the first time. These seem to be really well made. The materials both inside and outside appear to be durable - I believe the interior is some sort of polyester/cotton mix, and the outside some sort of rubber. Bottom line: I really like these gloves and have no buyers remorse. These don't make me feel any less of a man as I crank out delicious (but hot) ribs, briskets, or pork butts. Also use these for adjusting the vents on my Weber Smokey Mountain as they do get HOT. Not only can these be used for a Smoker, but deep oven pans, oven grates, turkeys - just be sure to follow the manufacturers guidelines and temperature limits. As always, Amazon got these to me in an absolute flash. I would buy again for sure.

I purchased the Super Flex Silicone Oven Mitt for its great reviews, back on April 3, 2015. It's been great for quick uses inside the kitchen, at the stove: taking baking sheets in and out of the oven, picking up hot pots of boiling water to strain in the sink, etc. However, this past weekend, my fiance used the mitt to carry a cast iron pan from our grill outside to the kitchen stove inside. The grill is located about 10 feet from the kitchen stove, just outside our deck door. By the time he was halfway to the stove, he started running so he could quickly put the cast iron pan down. He said it was starting to burn him and the heat had gone straight through the mitt. I was very surprised, thinking these were supposed to be 5-star, amazing mitts that withstood heat up to 450 degrees F. I doubt the grill and cast iron heat would have exceeded that temperature? I guess I was wrong! Be careful with this mitt!

A nasty burn prompted this purchase. I was still holding ice on the blisters when my husband found these mitts and ordered them for me. Shipment was quick and packaging great, but the best part is the performance! I've had a chance to use them and I did not even feel the heat of the 375 degree pan I was handling! I've seen single mitts sold for a comparable price - so I'm totally happy with the pair of mitts and even a free brush - it's a great value! I have medium hands and the size is comfortable - not so big that they're sloppy, but easy to slip on and off. I'm just as happy with the personal follow-up from the company. I got to download a free cookbook, but the best part is the tips and instructions that came via email. Don't ignore them - they have some uses and tips listed I would never have thought of on my own! I'm totally happy with this purchase and highly recommend this company and product!After over 6 months of constant use, I still love these mitts!They have protected me many, many times - BUT the sellers are missing an important bonus they provide!I use these mitts almost as often to open stubborn jars and lids! They have a grip that doesn't quit - and with a pair, I securely hold the jar in one hand and twist with the other. No slipping, no broken glass jars of marinara!! Or pickles! I have arthritis in my hands (moderate), so the pain opening jars and bottles causes can be sharp and severe, even with a simple soft drink lid. These mitts eliminate that problem completely!I have raved enough, I'm sure, but you get the picture - I still love these mitts! Yes, they are a little cumbersome - but so worth it, and I'm used to that now!After a full year of almost daily use, these mitts are still going strong! They wash up well, still handle the heat and protect me completely! I use them for cold items as well as hot now! They are the best product I've bought in a very long time!

Nach 10 Jahren waren die alten 'Topflappen' einfach hinfällig und nun mussten Neue her. Die Lieferung der neuen Solikonhandschuhe hat leider ca 2 Wochen gedauert, was vermutlich jedoch auch den Feiertagen rund um Weihnachten geschuldet war.Nun sind Sie hier, sehen nicht nur hübsch aus, sondern machen auch einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Der eigentliche Gebrauchstest wird sich natürlich erst über die nächsten Wochen und Monate zeigen können. Die ersten kleineren Einsätze haben die neuen Handschuhe jedoch bereits gut überstanden.Sehr angenehm ist, dass die Handschuhe im Vergleich zu den alten Stoff-Topflappen natürlich viel rutschfester sind und hierdurch ein sichereres Handling bei gerade heißen Töpfen ermöglicht. Ein klarer und wichtiger Vorteil.Die Größe der Handschuhe ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, da sie einen umfassenden Schutz ermöglichen. Anmerken möchte ich hierbei, dass ich jedoch relativ kleine Hände habe. Ich komme mit dem Handschuh daher gut zu Recht.Der Handschuh ist durch das Silikon leicht zu reinigen; noch vorteilhafter fände ich es jedoch, wenn der innenliegende, am Rande fest vernähte Baumwollhandschuh vollständig herausnehmbar wäre um ihn zu reinigen.Alles in allem bin ich aber zufrieden und hoffe hier auf eine langristig und gute Zusammenarbeit :-)

I'm delighted with these oven gloves that really do protect hands from high heat far more effectively than conventional oven gloves. Firstly they fit my hands really nicely with the soft inner lining cushioning my hands without loss of feeling. I can still feel what I'm gripping with these on. Secondly there is a really simple way to keep these clean on the outside. I simply wash my hands with the gloves on and a little soap and anything that's on them is gone. Thirdly the silicone rubber really helps with my grip issues; I am far safer holding anything with these, hot or cold, as they help me to grip. Even when my hands lock up or lose grip I've managed not to loose something I'm trying to hold with these on. Lastly these act as a set of grip gloves for stubborn jar lids. The pastry brush is a nice addition; no more loose bristles to clean off.

It's hard to get excited about oven gloves, but these are pretty exciting! I have a bit of a thing about ovens, I will not use normal material oven gloves and so I've had silicone gloves for some time now. When I saw these and the good reviews I decided to give them a go and I'm so pleased that I did. They're amazing. Even when holding really hot things I cannot feel any heat when using these oven gloves. The previous silicone gloves have also been really quite thick and so fairly restrictive as they don't really bend and move, whereas these are so soft that you can hold anything with them, I also like that they are lined, it adds extra comfort. I haven't used the pastry brush yet so can't comment on that but it looks to be of good standard. I'm really happy with my oven gloves, I'd really recommend them to anyone.

The mitts are HUGE and will fit just about anyone but the wrist is quite tight and would not fit over a thin long-sleeved shirt. The silicone is quite thick as is the lining and they are quite warm when on.The colour would not normally be a first choice for kitchen use but the price was a Daily Deal offer. The wrist length is good but could usefully be longer for better arm protection.The grip is excellent and sufficiently well-patterned and quite heavily textured. Overall, a major improvement on a similar pair purchased elsewhere and without the texturing which was immediately returned.
