Valley Fresh Organic White Chicken - 5 oz.-Pack of 12

I ordered this canned chicken because the photo seems to show that it has an easy open lid. The cans I received need to be opened with a can opener. I am disappointed. If it were not for COVID-19 and the fact that I am isolating, I would return it. I have not tried the chicken yet so I don't have anything to say about that.

II had given up the idea of tinned chicken, because most products are greasy and don't taste very good. I have been looking for a product like this one because I travel frequently and spend a great deal of time outdoors, and eating on a restricted diet (due to food allergies) can be difficult, so I try to avoid restaurants. So I needed a protein source that wasn't perishable, but tasty and portable, and I found it in Valley Fresh White chicken. After you drain the water (not oil) off, you an eat it right out of the can, or use the chicken to make a smaller serving of chicken salad (without having to cook a whole chicken). I also like to use the chicken in a vegetable stir fry I am hooked and will continue to buy this product.

Way to expensive!!

Love this especially for chicken noodle soup, fajitas, wraps. Easy to use.

Thank you so much for selling such a great product on amazon!!! I was disabled for a time and needed an extremely easy, healthy protein and these cans are always great! I always rinse the can contents with fresh water a few times like all canned things. Much better in chicken salad than tuna! LOVE the 2yr expiration date time period, never have to worry about stocking up!

Tasty and the fact that the chicken is organic is a bonus. I like to keep these on hand for "just in case" I'm in between grocery trips. Nice to add to a salad or any dish really. One thing I found is that the contents need to be rinsed with water once or twice before serving, that is unless you prefer very salty food. I do not. But no big deal to rinse then serve....hot or cold. I think it's a good buy for what you get.

I have had trouble finding Valley Fresh canned Organic white chicken in Houston. So glad to find this product available on Amazon! It is the best in my opinion. Great for sandwiches and I even use it for my quick chicken soup recipe. Love IT!

Drain the water and you will cut the sodium almost in half or more. Add some pepper or other spice if you want and eat it out of the can. Tastes great. I opt to drain the water as that is the most logical thing to do to cut out a large amount of the sodium.I highly recommend this canned chicken without any reservations. It tastes better than great and it is organic, even better. I did not go wrong with this purchase.
