Installing onto a Yamaha Bolt
I wanted a side mounting curved plate that I can attach to my shock. I have found this one and it can work if you cut the nut off that is on it and grind it down a lot. It is a nice chunk of metal and feels very sturdy and it looks good.It is a good product for the Yamaha Bolt XVS950 if you don't mind doing a little metal fabrication.

Looks good
Luke the looks, not sure how the bolt set up goes, no instructions, so if it gets lose I hope the wire will hold it.

Not polished billet!
The license plate holder is described as "polished billet" but it's very poorly spray painted silver. Please replace with item as described!

Fits my 2022 M109R
I was hesitant to order this as some of the reviews said it didn't fit or didn't have the correct hardware. After receiving and installing I can confirm it fits. The hex shape fits inside the axle as it should and the included hardware works as it should to wedge the bracket in place. Place the bolt through the bracket, slide the untreated piece on then the rubber washer and then the threaded piece. As you tighten the two pieces crush the rubber washer and expand it to hold the bracket. I used some thread locker and will give the bolt a check as part of my pre trip. Time will tell how well it holds up.

Relies on an o-ring to hold it on.
Compresses an o-ring to hold into your axle. With that cantilever load and vibration, you are guaranteed to lose it and your license plate. I ended up taking a long piece of all thread, running it through this bracket and the entire axle until it cam out the other side; cut it to length, and use two lock-nuts on each side. Discard the spacers, bolt, o-ring, and collar. This is how they should sell it.
