We've tried different brushes with our cat, but this one finally gained his approval, he enjoys getting brushed and starts purring. It's easy to remove fur from the bristles.

I use this on my pet bunny when he is in molt and shedding a ton of fur. I use the deshedding comb first but then go over him several times with this. I think this brush feels more like a message to him and he seems to like it better. It does have the plastsic knobs so it's not the sharp pins that might harm him. VERY easy to clean, just push the button and peel off the hair. I threw out the rubber brush because it was impossible to clean.

This brush works just fine. The only issues I have with this brush is that the plastic fur separator comes up too far and it causes some of the brush parts to bend and get trapped out of their track.

Arrived in cheap packaging, a little dirty, but I didn't mind very much for the price, so I cleaned it up with some water and wipes and it was good to go.The actual brush is perfect for what I was looking for-- there are little smooth dots on the ends of the wires, so that they won't harm your pet. My cat had sensitive skin and a shedding problem, and using this brush made everything so much easier. She loved the feel of the brush, and the wires collected so much hair and kept it all together instead of flying around in the air, as with my past brush experiences. It was very easy to clean off with the button, and the size of the brush was great to keep around my cat as well. Small, but not too small, just the right size. Money well spent.

The only one that really benefits from this brush, out of 6 animals, is one dog that is half Great Pyrenees. 3 cats and 2 other dogs… nope. And it’s not as easy as it should be to get the hair off. A little disappointed.

This brush pulls out the deep hair with ease, & my cats purr like a freight train. One even licks my hand when I quit! They all love the way it pulls out the dead hair & scratches all the itchiness away! I love the way it pulls out & collects the hair in a matt, then cleans itself with a push of the back button, instead of ending up all over me & the furniture.TOTALLY AWESOME PRODUCT!thank you.

My childhood cat enjoyed being brushed with the cheap brushes available at normal pet stores, so I was very discouraged when my current cat absolutely hated being brushed. I chalked it up to her not being used to it since I wasn't brushing her frequently (mostly because she hated it!). I even purchased THREE brushes for her, including the Furminator, thinking it would help. After 5 years, my husband and I decided to adopt two more kittens, and that's when I read that the normal pet brushes stores sell can hurt the cat's skin if it doesn't have a ball on the brush tips! I immediately purchased two of these brushes (thinking my old cat wouldn't like the new kittens' smell on her brush) and now my cat LOVES BEING BRUSHED. Now I've been brushing her two three times a week because she enjoys it so much, and the clean-up is so easy. And now I have a spare if this one ever breaks! Highly recommend this to all cat owners!!

The brush still works and is nice but it seems to take a long time to collect fur from my cat. My cat has long hair too. Seems like the brush bristles might be a tad too long.
